How many nerf melta AV damage threads will it take for devs to do it?

    The melta gun is kinda a crappy, inconsistent weapon as it is.

    To deal with vehicles they have to be standing still or someone has to stun it for the melta gun to be able to get in range to do any damage.

    Speaking of damage, this weapon does no damage outside of its ailment and its optimal application range is rubbing your face on your target while it drops off fairly quickly the further you get from it. Depending on range, from my experience, it takes forever to kill vehicles around max range. Around mid range it takes about 2 full loads of melta to pop a vehicle. Point blank it'll either drop a tank in one load or it'll almost be dead.

    The user also has extreme risk for a just okay reward.While you run out to deal with a vehicle, you're totally exposed to enemy weapons fire and even someone running around with a knife has a good chance of wrecking the meltagunner.

    Between it's 1-2 second firing delay, tiny range, inconsistent damage scaling, slow turning speed when active the thing is completely worthless against infantry that is even remotely aware too.

    What they need to do is make the weapon more consistent and flexible.

    No, a post with no substance is a post that brings bugs into a discussion about balance. Also, you've clearly never used a melta if you think it's better at killing infantry than a rokkit launcher.

    So I'm going to say it again, compairing a medium/long range weapon that can also kill infantry to a melee anti vehicle weapon is stupid. They're not the same and they don't have the same role.
  4. No, it's a warfare simulator. You know what tank drivers do in actual combat? Drive their tank around shooting things. Not parking and leaving it there for rpgs and missiles to find

    Because Ork Weapons are Shit AV and most of them Still bug (Rokkitz/Cannon).
    You can't Reload the Cannon when braced / You often can't see shit because it blocks the Cam / It explodes midair or in your own Face / Hits Miles from where you aim at.

    So that's a Summary of our "best" AV Weapon

    Then we got the Buzz Laser thing what is pretty much ok, just takes 6 or so Charges to the Rear to blow one up.

    Leaves us with the 15sec TTK Rokkitz + Sticky Nades Loadout that i did already explain.

    Start counting when it starts burning and roll Twice on 3sec. Take your Time and fry for the next 4 Sec.
    You clearly never used a Rokkit Launcher !
    Good luck Comparing a "Medium" ranged 1/2 hitting and "Long" ranged 1/6 hitting Weapon. Who has Time for that ? How much Rokkitz do i have to hit for a Transport ? 10 or more if i dont ever hit the Rear !
    And Yes the Rokkit Launcher CAN kill Infantry and so does the Melta. What's the Point ? I got Killed by Meltas lots of Times in under 5sec. That's the Time it takes to Reload the Rokkit Launcher... if you are not Toasted before you can even Charge it !
