You just can't avoid Meltas on this small Maps. What you are calling for is to have 2 People sitting in a Transporter, one at the gun and one on the Drivers Seat, to be able to react in the short Time that is given. Even getting out of your Vehicle when you see a hostile Vehicle coming for you still will result to 70%+ in your Vehicle getting blown up. BECAUSE Melta Bombs are planted in 0.1sec AND the Melta starts melting instantly, TTK 3sec for Player and also 3sec for Vehicle IT CANT WORK 1vs1 AND ITS NO FUN FOR MOST PLAYERS TO DO THIS JOB ANYWAYS. If I do that job, whats the most I will get ? 200 Points after waiting in the Vehicle for n unknown Time and only IF I manage to win AND execute. If he wins he gets 300 Points + 100-200 Points for the kill and he can switch class directly after and go on killing as long as it takes for us to get a new Vehicle... Something has to be done. You can't force People to stay at the Vehicle and wait for eventual attacking Meltas and you can't expect a People to pull new Transporters all the Time. If you want that, ask for a "ProMode" or Clan vs Clan Mode.

Melta must be effective against vehicles. But considered vehicles at the moment cannot be repaired they are too effective. At the moment we are not even seeing fight between vehicles. When 2 vehicles meet somewhere on the map usually 1 soldier with melta weapons comes out from one of the two vehicles and you see suddenly everyone leaving the other like rats escaping from a sinking ship. One suicide runner is so effective at destroying tanks that once you're under attack it's basically safer to leave the vehicle immediately.
You really need to put more Effort into your Comments. 2 Comments and both don't have any Substance. BTW Rokkits are Buggy as Hell and often explode without doing real Damage. Happens often also on tanks, that lose maybe 3% Health then. Melta vs Rokkitlauncher on plane Field. I bet 1000$ on Melta !
