Mon keigh? You mean those things that used the elder as slaves until they were overthrown? Why should you bother with them anymore? In all seriousness, while I will certainly main orks, I think I'll give the elder a shot. They seem cool enough, I might not fit in well though. I don't have a ego big enough
I would say that our greatest strength is tactics and planning - and not being overpowered. Don't think anyone here - fellow Eldar OR dirty primitive - wants a repeat of the "Dawn of Eldar" phenomenon we had back in Dawn of War through Dawn of War: Soulstorm.
In my experience, that which is both unseen and unforeseen always commands the greatest fear. Our numbers may be less, but our intelligence far surpasses the frail minds of our enemies. When the time for battle arrives our enemies will be many, but there will be only one menacing force that can overturn us - the doubts within our minds.
DoW was the main reason my hatred for the aureate children of Asuryan bore into an ever-blooming fruit. That and the fact that they're elves. I do appreciate the fact that in theory, the Eldar are superior. In practice, their very supernumerary talents bring abundant victory but horrific losses when hubris and pure chance strike at their impetus. All in all, a race lit with supernal substance. Perfect for lasgun practice.
I'm still always amused by how elitist many Eldar act. Despite being spoon fed technology by the Old Ones you still fell down the path that Humanity is currently walking. However, I will be planning to kill plenty of "Mon-Keigh," as you say.
It would be prudent for me to obfuscate my true colors, hehe. It's more fun to lurk and hide, to play in each race's shine and shadow.
