Plasma cannon or gtfo. Maybe a power weapon if you're a melee fetishist, but that's an aesthetic preference, not a calculation of efficiency.
It's not one-shotting you. They're hitting you with two attacks: Scream attack - no damage, debuffs your melee attack and defense Heavy sword attack from behined - does 250% of 'normal' damage (+100% from Heavy, +50% from Backstab) Space Marines have builds that can one-shot from the front with fast attacks. Those are broken.
If it kills me with one hit, it is 1shotting. End of discussion. Not to forget that an eldar strong attack is as fast as a SM fast attack, GG.
It primarily happens for eldar and orks. Never happened to me, I always have to hit enemies 3-4 times in the back. Same amount as actually hit their face that they don't cover. And I'm serious that is actually the amount of hits I usually need. If thats the case, remove the increased damage from behind, its stupid anyways.
One power attack normally kills anyone I hit from behind once in a while I have throw a fast swing in there to finish it. That's with a power sword though I haven't used the chain swords a lot.
Powerattack + fast attack => enemy doubledashes => I double dash twice => fast attack down. I use the power sword. Thats how it goes for me from EU, but only when I make 100% sure to hit the center of the back. I on the other hand have been back hit (special sound) fromt he front and at last 90° sides. So yeah game is good.
