And then the panel after that where devs give more armour to chaos. Because LSM apparently is getting it and we can't have CSM not get it too. Otherwise it would be mean.
It's great that the tactical class gets more armour, that way we can delay the enemy a little longer before being cut apart after our weapons failed to make an impression on the enemy charging us. This way our Devastators with plasma cannons (our only functional weapon!) can play the game and clear the point with one tactical held in reserve to capture the point! It's genius, all the others are durable bait now!
Oh jesus yes. I main the same, or used to, but now I mostly just play apothecary or plasma devastator. Those are the only two enjoyable classes.
Don't worry guys. Instead of bringing tactical's main weapon in 40k lore (the bolter) to be a well-rounded and competitive weapon, they are giving us a gimmicky grav gun. Yeah! That will solve all of the tactical marine's problems. It's time to start a movement: #MakeBoltersGreatAgain
I hopped onto my Rank 1 CSM and played Bolter preset last night. Was in top 3-5 on experience(4k-5.5k each) for 3 games in a row, squeezed out 8-12 kills and several assists despite not shooting a Bolter since before Eldar hit Early Access. Against Eldar no less, tiny hitboxes. Stop crying and learn to aim, jesus.
This may be a good fix for LSM tactical. But why the hell they forgot about CSM traitor? This looks like they are trying to balance factions not classes. Dumb idea in my opinion. In pvp factions balance should come from having every player balanced with other. Right now traitor marine was quite removed from game by traitor ground assault. Only exception is meltagun build or total noob who is not aware how weapons are working.
YES! MAKE BOLTERS GREAT AGAIN! I remember how early in the alpha, before it went on steam, the bolter was perfectly well rounded, not being the best option available but being a good jack of all trades.
I wish I could. I play a lot of different shooters but Bolters here are just not cutting it for a variety of reasons. Every time I play Dire Avenger or Shoota I do quite well, but it makes me sad that I can never attain the same with Bolter. I guess the good news is Chaos can just use the micro Bolter (by that I mean pistol) and bring a sword along with about the same level of firepower.
