How I know Eldar speed is non existent.

I find eldar speed is obvious playing as dire avenger strafing around someone. The extra speed helps...but that's about the only situation where it does. Even then you're dead in 5 shots anyways, so the enemy doesn't even need to be accurate...just fire in your general direction and you're down.

I find the whole melee combat in this game hilarious. Guys jump like 8 feet forward with a basic strike, and 15 feet with a heavy. Cause that's totally possible from a static position standing still....so no wonder a fat clunky space marine can catch an eldar by spamming melee.

But if we make it so Eldar can run away from melee, Njord will make another video where he chases someone around the map by spamming melee without being able to catch him!

Really hope they give Eldar proper speed by not letting mehrens achieve sanic speeds by spamming melee. But I kind of realized that the game isn't gonna go anywhere anyhow.. so.

Pretty much. It also makes Eldar into a faction of pubstompers, where bad players have significant issues hitting Eldar and thus hitbox difference compensates for lower EHP, but once you face good players that can land most of their shots regardless of hitbox, the advantage disappears.

And if enemies can ignore our smaller hitboxes, then stat-wise they are simply stronger. This means that if you have two equal teams of high-skill players, Eldar are usually at a disadvantage.

  5. that was clear for any player since crowd started to talk about hitbox advantages. It was a little advantage of eldar race but lowering ehp because of that made it a clear disadvantage !!
Thats why i will prefer stomp pugs really than face legendary stack... i cant consider as fun a situation where you are constantly gimped with EHP but probably have near equal damage potential. The core word - equal, but not an advantage in cannon part of "glassy cannon" then.
You can say dude but your weapon's pen was raised to 100 from 80. Not only eldar's, dear. And Boltguns with 100 pen punched us into nuts twice in terms of survivability.

Eldar desperetaly need ehp buff or damage buff. We are not "fine" and even devs agreed on one of the streams that eldar became not a thing that they wanted to make. A glass without cannon. Yeah. Dont tell me pls about "easy eldar gameplay" when you smashed brainless LSM lemmings and thought "eldar is still op and need moar nerff"

Hitbox - yes, speed - no. With prevailing of speed you can use covers\landscape even more efficiently. Actually, it is "first strike" rule.
Eldar isn't "glass cannon". You have your part in support buff. If you good players you can't be uninformed about it.
You can complain about it, but it is faction mechanics and even part of lore. Eldar never was better than SM in "one on one" fights, but still can win via quantity or sorcery. =)

But we have equal numbers to SM. How can we win by quantity if we don't have it?
  8. And our "sorcery" supports dont have equal firepower of DA, like apos match tactical and dont lose damage output total of the team if spawn more apo and less tacs.
So combat quantity advantage only belongs to marines and we are most obviously always ib disadvantage. isnt it clear?

Of course it's clear. WH40k has become "Space Marines kill everyone, and I guess you can play one of their targets if you want to."

I said about lore. In the game you have sorcery from warlocks, and it works as for me. Its looks like most of eldars try to play like space marines or even orks - win by weapon strength and much of dakka.
It is absolutely lie. Warlock have potentially MORE output damage with enhance. Much more EHP with protect. Always have AOE\range heal-revive. You really don't want swap it for apothecaries, like someone said one times...
