Commanders/leaders should be voted in. But I also suggest we have the option of unvoting the commander if he is performing badly, like doesn't know how to command or doesn't know how to capture objectives etc. Also, give us the option of checking the players profile record to see if he's a worthy candidate for command. Also one more thing, don't let guilds and whatnot decide who leads command/war council. It should be the whole player base deciding that and not just the few. Thanks.
Over time the true leaders will show themselves in battle through their actions, deeds, victories, and how they handle defeat. I also think you will find that those that covet leadership the least, will often make the best commanders.
I didnt vote I dont care for either option. I believe the war council should put in commanders that they want. I also have to say that my favorite commanders all lead from the front. Sardus of TRG and BuzzCutPsycho of TE are very hands on and extremely proficient leaders that change the tide of wars across their entire servers. Two leaders that radiate confidence and competency.
A tactical leader who's honest with people is considerably better for morale than a champion on the battlefield who loses sight of the objectives whilst seeking out personal glory. As said previously, good leaders rarely seek leadership out
a combination of the two options you provided in the poll: certain statlevels make you eligable, after which you can be voted in. so evne if you're superl33t, youll make sure to be nice otherwise you wont get any votes..
I can agree with that. But the fact is not everyone is cut out to be a leader. So yes I think that for everyone who wants to be a leader they should have opportunities to put on that hat and see if it fits.
