Even though my preferred Legion is the Iron Warriors, I would love to walk through desecrated halls as slaves and captives are flayed and sacrificed to the Ruinous Powers. Also that oh so giddy feeling of killing a cultist for no reason other than you're bored! Also, as an Iron Warriors fan, I want to see someone suffer from the beginning to end of the Obliterator Virus. Side-note: When SoB are added, all other factions have one thing we ask of you. KEEP THE ORGAN MUSIC DOWN! SOME OF US ARE TRYING TO SLEEP!
...Night Lords striking with the sunset, laughing on their helpless prey. Oceans of blood are flowing everythere, silence is broken with screaming and bolter fire. Among this nightmare you can hear the only words: "We have come for you!"...
@Robert Eckhoff: I see no reason why Tau wouldn't be the fifth faction added in this game, if it's successful of course. The Tau make sense, should be easy to implement. Ranged based, strong firepower; drawbacks of being weak in melee. They make more sense for this kind game. Imperial Guard are probably my favorite, but they rely so heavily on numbers, they make less sense than the Tau. Necrons would be interesting if they could be implemented. Being a slow moving, unkillable mass. Since they don't have transports, they would be like the British in the first battle of the Amer. Revolution. You would have to just wittle them down as they march to their objective. All in all, every faction sounds cool, but I feel like having too many choices is a bad thing. The best choice would be to implement Necrons as a NPC faction as well as Tyranids, and have the more fringe elements of the Imperium as more Aesthetic options. Sisters of Battle = Female Space Marines (maybe a few perks or differences), Grey Knights = Hero units of the Space Marines. Not separate factions. Why would SoB and GK's fight Space Marines, it doesn't make very good sense.
Orks Orks Orks A green flood of crazed hooligans sweeping over the battlefield with explosions and bullets all over the place
The Tau fortress will be big, sleek and a gleaming yellow/orange with the sept flags flowing in the wind and hanging down from the battlements. Lines of fire warriors backed up by Hammerhead gunships and battlesuits will push across the plains, Then in the jungles a few fire warriors open fire on some orks who quickly charge them to get into melee. The fire warriors feign fleeing and the orks follow them when suddenly Kroot drop from the trees and stealth suits open fire on the orks completing the ambush. The Tau have many tactics and I expect we will be using them all to our advantage. We will use the tactics of Mont'ka and Kauyon to best fit our situation, the Greater Good will triumph and we will further spread our cause. A thousand fibres connect each of us with our fellow Tau and along those fibres our deeds run as causes which come back to us as effects. Everything we must do must be in furtherance of the Greater Good lest we return to the Mont’au, the Terror.
I'm hoping to see vast armies of Chaos Marines emerging from warp portals, or drop pods, with different legion colours united under the banner of Chaos undivided, along with daemons of warp. I'm actually wondering if the chaos faction turns out to OP instead of the Space marines, like in Dawn of War, considering Chaos marines have infiltration abilities (probably because they were based on the alpha legion), and also Possessed marines had the highest melee damage out of all the other squad units.
