Many people have some interesting ideas about exactly how freaking huge a Warboss can grow after doing enough fighting. IIRC, someone even wrote a fanfiction about the Octarius War where the Overfiend is this Godzilla-sized monstrosity that uses Titan weaponry as pistols. That's big. So, how big do you think Warbosses/Warlords should be allowed to get in this game, if they even grow at all?
i think every class should have a fixed size and does not get bigger maybe as a perk which would increase your size along with your hitpoints but thats it
Increase in size would have to come hand in hand with exponential increase in health, plainly because the bigger you become, the more of a large, walking target you also because. Cover basically becomes meaningless once you outgrow it.
Just short of a Dreadnaught naturally. But with the additions of Mek & Flashy bitz? Id say Tank size.
>Implying orks have a size limit Anyway, compared to what ive seen of other warbosses they all vary in size for the most part, so im not exactley sure what size they should be, perhaps a dreadnought size or maybe tank size?
I think the biggest war boss to every live was da best un gahzkull urg mag thrakka who was 2 times the size of a space marine wore the biggest set of mega armor to ever be built and had a powa klaw that could cut a space marine terminator in half like it was paper. I'm guessing a war boss is equivalent in size ( according to what I just said and DoW 2 ) to the size of a dreadnought give or take.
I don't really like the idea of any ork classes growing through combat. If the ork classes could grow by getting a bunch of kills without a death I think we'd end up seeing players who are afraid to die. The green tide should be charging forward, not hiding behind walls afraid to be shot. As far as size is concerned I'd personally like to see the Warboss start out a couple heads over a Nob and with the right upgrades end up somewhere around Dreadnought size.
