How Are You Recruiting New Potential Players To The Game?

Kane would be one of the bigger ones, there is also the "wife" of nurgle who's name I can't recall.

Most of my friends have been into 40k for at least 5 years, so that isn't really a problem. However, most of my friends don't want to dish out the amount of money for a founders pack and will probably not show much interest in the game untill at least beta-stage. I myself have very high hopes for this game seing as I've been a diehard fan of 40k since my father introduced me at the year of five back in the 90's [we dug out some old Space wolves terminator the other day and it's really quite fun to see the evolution of the minis ^^ ].
I try as much as I can to slam the game in their faces at every turn, but I guess I'll just have to be patient and show them the alpha and beta stuff when I play it; "look at this, look at what you missed you idiotic fool.. Now go and buy the damn game will you!".

I'm in aus and I get decent latency from most games, but if this is true i may just have to stick to PvE till they can sort it out.

I point them to the /stream/video every Friday. I'm not going to bullshit them or try to explain it and simply let them decide.

Most people either know nothing of this game or are confused by conflicting info and things that remain half-explained. Personally I can only keep up with the truth by browsing often, watching the streams and regularly PMing the devs.
Generally trying to drum up interest in this game and even properly introduce it to people is difficult. Most often they think it's an edgy WoW clone with a pay2win cash shop made by shovelware developers and put on a kickstarter-like funding model.
I do believe that things will get easier when some things become playable and people start getting a tangible idea of what the game is. I'll contain most of my viral marketing work until then.

Im working in it, i actually get 4 or 5 persons that dont know W40K into it, so my friends are waiting the Game, while im actually the only one that use and likes Forums.

  6. 40K is easy to recruit for; Eternal Crusade the video game is difficult because it is not easily defined and it is very tough to know what Behavior decides to include or change to suit their own preferences.

I mention it to people i know that game as well, i also tend to mention it in GW2 allot since its RvR mode is leagues inferior to what EC is striving to be.

As of now ive got some 5 people interested, though they are still on the sidelines till things get allot clearer information wise.

Look like Chaos isnt that good bringing people in as Imperial Truth.

    What makes you say that?
Theres no tangible evidence that the SM players are getting more recruitment's then anyone else.
Nor is there any rule that someone who got recruited by a "loyalist" must automatically play SM as well, they might as well play Orks or anything else.

No you mispelled what i was trying to say ,haha, maybe my english isnt that good as i think it was, what i was trying to do was a joke. That Chaos doesnt convice people as the Imperial Truth. dont know how to explain it, huehuehue.
