Hotfix 1.8.12 Notes

    Hello Crusaders!

    Here are the notes from today's hotfix:

    Purchasable Character slots have been increased to 10! 14 total character slots now available.

    Weapon / Gear Icons revamped globally to better reflect the actual look of the weapons since in a lot of cases they simply were wrong.

    Autarch color will be set based on their craftworld

    Fixed wrong color when equipping Ashen Sky Shrine with Wargear 1 and 2 and Ancestral Torsos for Swooping Hawks

    Fixed Campaign shoulder losing its rim when equipping power armour. **this didn't make it into this patch**

    Redshell completely removed!

    Strong Seal of Forging will appear the correct color on character models

    The i symbol on helmets has been removed

    Heat Per Shot slightly increased on Standard Autocannons.

    LP Costs normalized on many weapons:

    - Hysterical Frenzy from 200 to 150

    - Mace of Punishment from 480 to 470

    - Iron Bane from 480 to 470

    - Teeth of Khrone increased from 450 to 480

    - Abbadons Grace increased from 600 to 650 to reflect the Ablaze Ailment bonus

    - Voice of the Emperor from 480 to 470

    - Sternguard Bolter from 400 to 380

    - Heart Piercer from 400 to 380

    - Cool down on Blight grenade set to 30s

    Good patch some nice balancing to LP costs

    I do believe Orks are in dire need of some patches however.

    Here's a few issues myself and some of da boyz have noticed whilst playing, do what you please with them, would be nice to see some love for Orks since they're technically not even a finished faction yet...
    • Zip Slugga is 250LP (200 DPS) yet produces less DPS compared to a Dakka slugga which is 150LP (218.5 DPS)
    • The Mastercrafted Zzapgun which is 1.6s instead of 1.5s like the MC Lascannon (Not sure if this is intentional due to the beam being less visible, would be nice for it to be more visible and charge up quicker however)
    • Our shields being very inferior to the Space Marines shields where you can be stunned with the shield up
    • Obviously there's the issue of throwing nades over balconies which I'm sure you already know about
    • Skip launcher being absolutely useless (Should be a stronger stun, slightly higher damage and larger AoE)
    • Latest RTC Purchaseable shooter not being able to equip attachments
    • Kannon Deffgun shots being pretty much invisible to the enemy during flight
    • Ork head hitbox being small despite negating damage to headshots anyways
