I think for SM sets of armor of 5-8 should be freely available for customization as unlocks maybe and the lower for cash. For CSM give them the WH40k:Space marine customization options of 2-5 with options for the higher as unlocks (looted) with things like helm and chest for cash as you cant loot and use something full of holes. Im more interested in orkz and eldar actually.
you can't turn the helmet, but you can still turn your head inside(i know this is what you meant but still felt like poking at it ) but yeah i would really love me some Mk3 Iron armor. aside from the legs, i think it's one of the most badass heresy-era armors.
Of course their will be HH era armour. That's what all the original heretic legions still run with seeing they can't mass produce and create the new technology like the loyalists can.
i really do hope that CSM will have some more noticeable Heresy era armor. i know that the warp alters things and mangles them pretty bad, but not a single game has a CSM wearing recognizable heresy-era armor. it's all some sort of twisted form of Mk7 aquila armor..
They are still under maned and scattered disloyal and twisted. They don't have the distributing or production power which is why most have the same armour.
Technically speaking, wasn't the Mk VII developed during the Heresy? So we're all (mostly) going to wear HH-era armour anyway But my favourite being the Mk IV Maximus, I really really really hope we can get older armours as well.
