That's the new item title... Should be 3.

Curious though, does the said Mark 3 in the SM part of the store also include the helmet?
Cause the only thing presented there is a chestplate.

Im not gonna play SM, but if i did i would find a helmetless MK3 ill suited to my immersion.
This also translates to the CSM which i will play, and which surely will get their own MK3 later on (would be insane not to with the IW ingame and Death Guard planned for post launch). Id not buy the look without the helm.

lots of info promised for today, hopefully we get at least a sketch of the armor, what should we expect.
  4. I would assume that it'd be the full set, it says mkIII armour and not mkIII chestplate. It looks like, judging by the shoulder pad you can get for SM as well, that there is going to be additional customisation that you can apply, that being said, I'd be very surprised if the mkIII armour doesn't have everything, helm and all
    Steelhide likes this.
  5. Mk III Relic Armour? Are you sure it's Mk III as that Breastplate seems to have some Mk IV qualities.

But if you want Mk IV armour then I suggest you take a look at the Master Of Relics as his Breastplate is Mk IV with Mk V cabling & connector; plus his legs are Mk IV. Can't tell about his arms because of the pose.

As for limits on numbers of certain armour marks, most Chapters have the facilities to produce armour pieces with some being able to produce entire suits themselves. The old Legions and some Chapters still produce bespoke parts, the Ultramarine Praetor Pattern helmets are a good example.
Therefore it is possible for a Chapter to adapt and/or manufacture parts for older suits it is just a question of whether the investment of time and resources would be worth it.

Of course that does not necessarily cover the work of artificers who can resurrect, modify, and/or ornament armour pieces for their patrons.
