Gotta love this thread derailment over something so insignificant and meaningless to the point that people are only arguing about it just to "feel good" and be right. Good times, good times...
It would put them at least a head shorter than an Astartes. Older power cables tend to be thicker. I believe they are armoured up to a depth within the armour. Then again they can be all be standard, and all be armoured (which makes sense from a manufacturing point of view). As for the thin cables you speak of, are you sure they're on Mk III armour And are you sure they're Power Cables? They could be part of a cooling system, water reclamation system, or part of any number of other sub-systems. Astartes power armour recycles liquid and solid waste into consumables for the wearer. For the history and design of Astartes power armour, look here: http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/thr...a-history-of-space-marine-power-armour.21501/
Easily a head shorter. Yes, fairly certain. It has the hallmark Iron Plate design features, and they're coming out from directly under the breastplate. IIRC they're described as exposed, but armored, cables that were covered with an armored panel in later marques, such as Mk IV or Mk VII/VIII. Perhaps some of the thinner ones may be part of the subsystems though. Interesting read for sure, you go much further in to the background of each marque than other sources I've read. Thanks for the link.
Interestingly enough, by trying to find the pictures, it seems that it may be an artwork quirk of Neil Roberts. Makes sense though, because all the Mk III miniatures have covers over the area where the cables are.
This Thread ... My normal reaction, since this has been posted 100+ times now in the last 2 years ... Here's the naked truth ... @GhostJinouga Sorry to brake it to you if by some miracle you're not a troll and you are in fact serious... The likelihood of there being Sisters of Battle by launch is Never, the likelihood of Sisters of Battle being in at some point in the future is Maybe. And by future I mean as in long after release, as in months to years after release. And only if the game is successful to begin with to warrant the company supporting the developers to keep working on the project after it's release. I won't bother repeating myself again. HOWEVER At this point in time they are undecided on a lot of things right now, as their entire focus is getting the game mechanically feeling fun to play by approaching it from a vertical slice development direction leading from the launch of Alpha through to Beta. During that time they will slowly add in things which they have discussed they will implement and add over the past 8 months worth of live streams and information posts. They said they hope to have PvE content testing by December or January and there is a very high possibility Eldar will be in sooner than later and Eldar will have both male and female options for as far as I'm aware most or all of the classes for their faction if you really want to play a female character in this game.
Actully that's good for me for my fav is Eldar, just noticed Sisters this year(I even dont knowvthis fiction exist before). And if they let player to chose the gender of the class in Eldar then that make sensevto me
IT'S A TRAP! Here's the thing about Space Marines, they have almost all their base human desires completely repressed. They get turned into Space Marines when their young, which means in the process they don't experience puberty. What leads a Space Marine to turn to Chaos is a lot different to what leads normal humans to turn to Chaos, then you'd understand how unhuman they are after they get turned into a Space Marine.
