I don't think anyone can get into the game right now, Amazon Servers is fucking everything up for everyone associated with it. Go try to start up the game yourself, see how it goes. For me, it only produces an error-message.
Free to play will bring a small surge of players but unless the game actually sees mechanical improvement, its going nowhere. The balance patch just ruined the decent gameplay we had. People could take some hits before. New patch you can't take any hits what-so-ever. Nobody is going to play a bad game even if its free. There's just no incentive for players and as free to play players, they don't really get any progression and they'll just quit. They're not going to pay full price for a half-assed game.
Still have to wait forever to get a match as Eldar or Orks tonight. Getting a little concerned about getting my 10 wins in.
I've actually started playing again because of the patch. The new features got me interested. JPA is definitely harder, but it doesn't stop me trying to git gud for when they boost them up again.
i guess half of them are support classes that refuse to play. We have had since alpha at least 100 armor, having 25 or 50 is a kick for them.
To be fair I was queuing to the point of despair until I went and switched my favoured server back from EU to ALL.
The past two nights I have been hit with DC's and from what I saw on the rosters and seeing the disconnect icons for other users I feel I am not alone. The first night I could see it being related to the Amazon event but last night as well? Up until this week I haven't even seen a disconnect before now. The current content of the last few patches has already dampened my desire to play, But the random DC's are truly killing it.
