Yeah chaos cultist highly possible no issue with the lore but you might want more equipment than just an auto pistol and sword like maybe and auto gun(assault rifle) or maybe just a shotgun also I don't think you need to list how much ammo you have. Agian I'm not the GM I'm just giving suggestions and helping people with the lore around here when Maleth is not here.

Alright sounds like you guys need a medic. I have a question The gear sister hospitalilters have is that only for them I am talking about there wrist devices and parts of there armor that I think I have seen some imperial guard medics using. Is it possible for a sister Hospitaliliter to fail and or be kicked out of a sister hood?
Well from what I just read it apears to be just the most top of the line stuff avilible short of space marine apothecaries so it probably isn't exclusive to them but it is probably really expensive. However depending on your character's back story if they are an ex guard medic they may have been issued it during medical training because their regiment was from a wealthy planet that could afford to give them it.
Yeah death korps and Vostroyan first born are both pretty well equipped anyways so what exactly do you want with them? I mean do you want the blade that's used to cut through armor, the syringes, detectors or do you want it all?
I am somewhat leery about him already knowing about Chaos Gods, considering a major facet of the RP will be how the gang reacts and acts upon knowledge of the Warp and Chaos, about if they would embrace it or turn upon it e.g. do they summon Daemons to help them gain power by killing their rivals, or banish such Imperial-mandated abominations back to the warp? I would be okay with him knowing about the warp in more detail than the average citizen e.g. it exists, and it may be possible for draw power from it (Sorcery) and gain aid (Daemons) but Chaos is completely unknown to him unless he dug deeper into occult lore or things like that. I would consider it a possibility for expulsion to be an appropriate punishment for any serious crimes committed while training if they weren't that bad be some of the other things that could be done. I also doubt any ex-Hospitaller would be allowed to keep her proper gear and so she would likely start with improvised chiurgeon tools (Which can be wrist-mounted just like the artwork often shows, which I presume is to keep the hands free for battle.)
