I've changed it so that Contacts can come on missions, so Combat Contacts are possible. It's just that contacts are not always 100% there all the time unlike Minions/Gang Members who pretty much will turn up no matter what's happened to them. (Barring stuff that might make them turn traitor.) Also, Contacts take more effort to make them happy by doing them favours (and so, become more reliable which makes them do more for the PC/Gang) than Minions or Gang Members (Who normally give 110% anyways.) And yes, it is possible to convert Contacts to Gang NPCs/Minions, if they become Very Reliable and you pay up the difference between Contact cost and Minion Cost.
Hmmm aleight then for Gabriel he's going to purchase a tech contact and Possibly a 500 trained hunter guild grenadier?
So for the mission which area are we going to go to in the abyss? The mutant hovel or the old Manufactorum? I'm good either way but it does need to be one or the other unless we want to split the gang into teams again.
I suggest we go to one of them I am thinking the mutant hovel for body's and space and becuse anything could be at thee manufactorum and we might need another techy and some anti armor. That and we could see Marcus skill with other mutants maybe he could convince them to join the hand or opportunity to get a new allires. We might even see mutants from the wastes.
Maybe but Marcus doesn't know everyone from the wastes. He's able to bring in people because he's friends with and actually related to a few chieftains on his mother's side. So if we came across Clan Ugrik folk he might be able to pull a few strings but any other clans he doesn't have nearly as much pull especially if they're from Orstalk.
Yeah I think we should do the mutant settlement, we need more bodies for the gang and it seems like a good foothold to push into the abyss
So, if you guys are going for the Hovel, I'll go and run up a time-skip post (Assuming that everyone actually has some sleep before their next misadventure!) Funnily enough, I feel obliged to point out that travel is not strictly linear (For neutral territories, anyway) so you can literally pass through the Hovel and instead reach Opeck's or the Chapel.
We should still take it over though to get a foot hold in the region and besides I want Marcus to interact with other mutants and show the more humanitarian side of him.
