  1. Yes you can.

It's never really going to be closed, I mean it's a city so it shouldn't be that hard to introduce new characters, just a heads up and a brief discussion on where to step in.
  2. Yeha its a hive city their could be random survivors here and their some scary monsters while others could be tame and calm
  3. Think of it like Fallout. Pockets of miniature survivor civilizations surrounded by hell.

Also I completed the last two maps, will scan soon.

    Name: "Stubbs" (Real name Unkown)

    Class: Gang House Leader

    Race: Human

    Characteristics:
Stubbz is a interesting man. Some would call him insane, while others would call him a Mad genius. His reputation not only as a leader but overall gangster has really changed throughout the years. Some say the stress has caused him to become weak and slow, but little do they know that even the boss gets his hands dirty if needed.

    Traits:

    Dual Wield:
Stubbs was born ambidextrous and in his line of work this became very, very useful. Usually sporting his two weapons. A Autopistol named, Rocks and his Stub Revolver named, Packapunch. (Has two pistols and can use them at same time.)

Veteran: Like almost every ganger in the Contractors, Stubbs is a Imperial Guard Veteran. This has given him discipline, honor, and more importantly self training in the way of war. He might be a genius at running a gang organization, but this hasn't made him fat and lazy. As the motto goes: Every Contractor is a warrior. (He still can fight even tho he is the boss and use some more military grade equipment.)

The Boss: Stubb's name is not new to the Hive and his face is known by many. This opens many opportunity's and 'friendships'. (Basically people are scared of him cause he runs a gang house, but similarly he has much power and money so some may help him hoping to get a reward.)

Hive Status: His new gang house(bunker) is located in the lowest part of the upper hive.

History: Stubbs was originally a lieutenant for a Imperial Guard Infantry regiment. Whatever happened is unkown, but he eventually arrived to this planet and quickly made a name for himself. First he was know as just a man that could do any 'job'. Slowly he built himself a small gang, only recruiting ex members of the Planet's PDF or other Imperial Guard Regiments. Eventually he offered his gang as a kind of military contracting force, apply named The Contractors. They proved to be very loyal to their clients and because of their members military history, they would usually have no problem completing the more 'messy' jobs.

Recent history has not been good for him or the house. If it wasn't for his power or money he would be in the dirt with the rest of his gang in the Underhive. While he has lost most of his men and power, many opportunities have arrived from this tragedy and he knows exactly how to take advantage of it.

Loyalties: Leader of the Contractors ganger house.

  6. Update, maps.

    Dreadspire Lower Hive; Entrance 001a.jpg
Lower Hive is a ruin of smashed storage hangars built atop eachother. Sections SH1 22-24 Have maintained outer hull structural integrity sufficient to operate hangar doors. The contents of these designated Storage Hangars was quickly "acquired" as materials for the exiting Grounders, or rather those that fled Dreadspire as soon as they realized they'd made groundfall.

    Dreadspire Outer Hive; Overview.jpg
Dreadspire has landed at the foothills of a chain of volcanic mountains on planet Gerringard's inhospitable equator. The nearby stack is a magma vent that drains into a series of sulfuric geysers that pool up into a swamp. Outer air appears to be acrid and chocked full of ash, but tolerably breathable.

Impact Crater: terrain slopes down and towards the Hive in its immediate vicinity.

    Strengths:
Enhanced Strength: STIMS AND Surgically ENHANCED.
    Brawler: skilled in hand combat
    Henchmen: Gangers at his command

    Flaws:

  8. Good news guys, I'm going to be stuck at my house all weekend and today is my last day at work for about 12 weeks, so I'll be getting that intro done. its lagging I know, my bad, but it's still happening.
  9. Okay a pre-empt/practice draft.

So basically as a pre-amble to understand how the hive to be, there is a Space Hulk called the Kronos, a spiny ball of crafts that landed on the ship and stack by stack over the countless centuries of warp space, where out from the central core a diamond hard warp ice slowly encrusts any ship, whether it be a wreck crashing into it, or some leftover craft of those who foolheartidly ventured into the labyrinthinian depths of the drifting craft.

[So that used to just be a sphere]
So basically like this thingy, except each of those towers is grown by the warp-glass-ice-stuff encrusting ships that stay on it for long periods of time. Talking like years of not moving.

Upper Hive would look something like this
    Ice Castle.jpg
    except formed into city blocks.

When the hive lands it's like one of those spikes rammed into the planets surface (which is called Gerringard. btw). This Spire has a central core of rail line leading deep into the ship, so now it will be verticle, so at the very core of the hive is a shaft that spans Upper Hive to Lower. Around that is a solid structural core, the top of which is plateaued and covered with reinforced deep ship quarters. Upper Hivers would be made up of those that have curried enough favor with either the Dark Mechanicus, served in one of the Defense Forces or perhaps even was bestowed wealth and status by the Council of Deimos(Ruling Body of the Kronos Consortium) itself. One thing is certain, Upper Hive is a den of heretics and confederates to the Consortium's mysterious sepratist goals. There even existed exclusive Slaaneshi Clubs whose lines were roving encampments of hopeful decadents, awaiting days or even months on special occasions. Now as the Hive settles it sits the most structurally sound, but casualties have been compounded by the escape of the contents of the Blood Pits gladiatorial slave-cells, spilling out into the district and just absolutely running amok.

Middle hive is layered around the central shaft (the shaft itself dotted with manufactoriums and storage bays)it gets narrower as it goes down until it gets to lower hive, which is half rammed into the planet. Then the outer layer kinda peels down and spreads out, creating say, two of the warp glass walls spreading out and down from the central shaft.

IDK, so I was thinking that when it lands it could land in a number of fashions.
    A) It spreads outward so the hive is larger and more spread out, perhaps the outer wall is lower.
    B) It maintains structural integrity and just is like a layered spike stabed into the planet, a tower with more towers inside.
C)It caves inward, so the walls are like long sloped near cliffs, high and with great overwatch. This city streets are tighter, and in some places the buildings curve into eachother.
    or
    D) It pulps up and becomes like a new mountain on the surface. The hive is encased in a shell and most every buildings roof conjoins, though in some places it fissures.

What do you say, Vote on it?
