I'm aiming to have plenty of wares (cool gear and that extra edge in battle) for you to spend your RP on, no matter how wealthy you manage to get. I would be delighted if you wanted to save up for some of these and worked towards them!
No problem! It's very likely that character titles will be present. It's a great way for your peers and enemies to recognise your martial or tactical prowess; role within a squad or strike force; and renown for playing a pivotal role in a major campaign. We want ways for players to distinguish themselves from their peers.
It may not be appropriate given the scale of battles and the feel we want to achieve. Only testing will tell. We'll experiment with a few methods so you won't miss the chance to brag about a sweet kill. If you lose your fight, you'll definitely see who it is that you need to get revenge on.
If controlling RP gives better rewards, what is there to limit snowballing? The more RP the faction controls, the better the weapons, the easier it is for them to maintain control.
It's a good point and we'll have to make sure that there are mechanisms in place to keep the factions competitive. If snowballing with RP was the only problem we had to solve! There's a myriad of challenges to overcome in developing the inter-faction conflict and the design team will invest a significant amount of effort on this front.
