Though it's not current, older Edition Howling Banshees (I think first seen on 2nd Edition models and persisted in the rules until 3rd edition) used Power Axes as well.

I think the idea of locking weapons to Exarchs is something of a slap in the face, to be honest, when every Joe Ordinary Space Marine grunt can use a Power Fist, which are supposed to be worn only by Captains unless the user is in Terminator armour. It seems we get one set of rules for other factions and another for us. Welcome to the world of WH40k though; this favouritism has been present for at least 20 years.

This is something I would not be against, for all faction. Making the powerfist or the claw something only weared by veterans and nobs (if they ever appear as nobs one day), or in the future, captains space marines and warboss only use them.
Not only this would make the locking of eldar weaponry to the exarchs more fair, but we would stop seeing some bad behaviour and salty situation where against 6 normal boyz (not even nobs !), 5 of them are geared with power klaws, and same for Space marine.
But of course, such a system would mean that the veteran can be actually useful alone, outside of groups of veteran that can steamroll a game, an alone veteran in a group of normal class, even fighting and protecting him actually suffer from being too squishy.
If we can actually lock some weapons to veteran, some weapons considered bullshit would become normal, without having to nerf or buff them. With veterans using powerfist, and the risk to see them not often, the incredible sheer power of the powerfist that turn an eldar into mash potatoes would be much more justified as well as being lore wise. Same going for Eldar's weapons that are only used by exarchs and can kill the space marine by sheer contact.

Hey that could actually be something @Oveur , what do you think ?

Never said that. I'm one of their defenders about their current state.

The Claw also has a full Shuriken Catapult built into it. Shorter range than the Avenger one, but just as much damage potential.

Let's not forget that they let Wolf Priests replace their Crozius with a gun they don't get on tabletop. They only get the more expensive versions in the form of combi weapons or a Storm Bolter (and still keep their Crozius). But letting Eldar take Exarch weapons on non-Exarchs is completely unacceptable.

Adding a bit more to what has been said by others that Shining Spears and Warp Spiders are both completely absent from the game, we also don't have Crimson Hunters (and won't ever unless aerial vehicles become a thing) and Shadow Specters. Shadow Specters use a weapon called a Prism Rifle that is basically a scaled down, man portable version of a Fire Prism's cannon, and multiple warriors can combine their Prism Rifles to devastating effect. They are also stealthy jetpack units.

Stealthy jetpack users with heavy weapons....

Shadow Speccters will NEVER make it into this game without being nerfed into oblivion. They would be stealthy jetpack users with large, slow, inaccurate laser pointers.

    You're not wrong.

Not sure this would roll well, even if they are not nerfed to the point of uselessness, you can be sure that Dark Reapers and Swooping Hawks will be put to unemployement by the players.
