Direswords are not usable with Shimmer shields so it would be a normal power sword+ shimmer shield which we already have in game hence why I didn't mention them
If possible, they can disable capture keys for melee builds if they want for all I care, I just want more options to make the class less unappealing, boring and unsatisfying like it has been for months, the class for me offers nothing but depression
Love and attention! But others have said a lot of what I'd want. Probably better on the move accuracy if we're supposed to be moving. I'd love my wyrmfang spear to be a thing and wall-running for banshees.
That's a pretty big one.. I get we're probably not super popular with the Devs cause there's some of us (myself included) that rag on this dev team, but giving us a reason not to for once would be a pretty big one.. Actually trying to improve the Eldar gameplay with some of what's listed and maybe for once if your gonna skip out on content for a faction skip out on LSM to try to shake at least some of the favoritism.. Just knowing the dev's might care does go a way.
I'm only rank 4 in Eldar because I don't play it that often, but I mainly want more options. Customization and fiddling with weapon/armor mods are part of the fun, and I feel like I only have 1 affordable build for each class. I'm guessing that increases to 2 after I unlock everything. I think @Faeruin 's suggestion are more what I'm referring to. weapon mods and red armor missing being what annoy me the most.
How dare we ask for buffs to some shitty weapons. How dare we imply that some weapons on Eldar are underperforming.
Really someone should revamp the basic cosmetics for them, right now everything the eldar have looks like plastic and very simplistically modelled. I get that the coloring is "supposed" to be bright but there are no differences in the tones of color and no highlighting what so ever. Here is what they could be:
I want 2 things. 1. People to realise that both the singular and plural for Eldar is Eldar. There is no 's' in Eldar. 2. New Warlock Ability/Buff. Call it, oh I dunno, "Fleet Of Foot". AoE Cast on self/Allies this increases sprint speed by 75% for 20 seconds. Drops mic... (I'm open for debate about the actual % increase and duration but it must be noticeable to make a difference to gameplay and make the Eldar finally feel like a speed based weak EHP faction - currently the low EHP is there but the fast speed is not. 15% run and 33% movement speed does not make a meaningful impact and gives no tactical advantage in this arena based small map shooter. EHP is everything both in attack and defence and no amount of flanking, which gives you a momentary surprise advantage, can result in changing the fact that this is an attrition focused game revolving around point capture on small points. Increased speed will be balanced as it will introduce a new dynamic, speed and evasion as a way to dodge gunfire upon an assault or find new paths of attack quickly. It will also bring more choice to Warlock loadouts and more decisions will have to be made as to whether to focus on speed or other buffs/debuffs. Indirectly it will also validate the Banshee which many deem to be underperforming (even though this patch melee feels better for all classes) as well as stay true to the implemented EC gameplay principles that the Eldar faction comes together and becomes viable based on synergy and teamwork especially focused on Warlock and other class interplay. )
