Just wanting to post a little something, to ask our fellow pointy-ears to make a list of what Eldars need, for a change, instead of what they should not have. Just go ahead, keep it civil, we know the problems with eldars, we know the hate about their orange orang-outans, we know all that shit, just for one time, just say what the Eldars need to have and to be added to the games in terms of abilities, weapons, gameplay, buff and all. In the possibility that the devellopers decide to buff the eldars in a future patch after all, it does not bite to dress a little list just in the case of this little hope. Don't know, can always help them decide a roadmap. EDIT : Here's are all the posts that I found relevant to add, this excluding all the trolls, but also the arguing and contestation (only for now, we are just talking of suggestions to add new things after all). Don't have the motivation to sort this all out for now, so many things might be repeated through it, I will probably do it in the future but not now as all the ideas are coming in raw.
I don't know what I can say (or anyone for that matter)vthat won't illicit 10 opinions that will run completely contradictory to that opinion, no matter how reasonable we all make it sound. The runes have been cast. I foresee much salt, people saying dire avenger needs more EHP and shuriken catapults fixed, just as many saying to those people git gud. I foresee Mon'keigh, coming to this topic and saying nerf double meltabomb, stop bitching and eldar OP, and how we all need to stop asking for buffs cause we are fine as we are. I foresee Asheru telling people to stop being asshats, and demitri Dominov making a long, Long, long post explaining why said buffs are needed, and those who don't agree with him calling him an idiot, and those who do agree giving him a like and that's it. I see a possibility of this degenerating into a ADAD exploit thread, with masses blaming the red twizzler warrior. I cannot delve any further into the future, my mind and spirit is spent for this day Kin.
All I want: - Shuriken Pistol to receive an ammo and accuracy buff - Starswarm to be buffed in accuracy and damage. Or completely reworked. - Shuriken Cannon buffed to receive no penalty for moving (maybe leave this out for hipfire). - Meltabomb buffed and bundle removed.
In light of the coming workshop, I will only name new things we need, not rebalancing of existing assets. In that regard, mostly the Banshee and Dire Avenger could use some help, the rest would need buffs only in compensation for nerfs in other items. -Long Range, Anti-Entrenchement Fire Support. See: Stalker bolters. Read: Rangers -A proper, mechanical equivalent to Frag-Grenades in area damage and denial that is not available to just the Dark Reaper in form of the Tempest Launcher. -A blocking tool to physically prevent enemies from just overrunning a defensive position and limiting the impact of Saturation fire and AoE, maybe a shield, but there are other options. -More reliable, destructive, long-range AV, I am thinking of something hot and burny with a lot of range here, any ideas? Really any sort of Tank class to bolster our all-too-squishy ranks in combat, a cliff in the tides to rally behind, lets say...Wraithguard?
All I want: TLSC to figure itself out and obey the Bladestorm rule rather than being a SB with headshots. Eldar effectively getting 1-2-3 or 4 shot in the head when most everything else gets way more leniency when still playing correctly. Their EHP can stay the same otherwise. Specifically I think they could use an Ork headshot resistance considering how giant their heads are and it wouldn't mess up everything. Maybe even on just the armor portion of their hp. Starswarm to not resemble the skip launcher. Cosmetics Elite, preferably the ranger but I don't know how to balance a stealth sniper, I hated the infiltrator from PS2. Same as @Eldritch. I agree with the bottom half of @Rheeva with the exception of long ranged AV. Like to see some of the things in the game files on UAT and being tested. The firepike in particular seems like s pretty good replacement for a meltabundle.

I never fail to keep players on their toes. I do slightly disagree with @Xi0 though.Just on the non personal wishes. I definitely don't want the ASC to change all that much. It's been totally nailed by the devs, especially in teamplay. And Shimmer Shields are for melee btw so if you want them, I'm guessing you want their Dire Swords too, or else the deployable energy Shieldwalls from DoW?
