Terminators and equivalents will not have the same size as regular models. That is also why it takes so long for them to be implemented (new animations etc have to be made). There are already WIP models in the game files, and they´ve shown them in one of the older twitch streams with a comparison to the standard marine model. TEQs will most likely have less customization options if not even a fixed loadout like elites have (at least for the first iteration).
I feel like the ranger will have a bof skin and we will have to pay to get the normal skin with the hood.
I'm was really hoping Space Marines get a Librarian for their Hero Class. They need a psyker. But apparently it's just the Super Edgelord Legion of the Damned with some flames added to a standard marine unit? (Sort of how the Kommando is just a Striking Scorpion at the end of the day.........)
Well ork striking scorpion is at least something orks didnt have. Same with eldar ranger. But damned legionaire is just another tactical marine... Possesed also probably wont be anything but powerfist ground assault...
I'm kinda expecting damned legionairres to not have any kind of special instant-spawn-anywhere mechanic... since their "thing" is really supposed to be materializing out of nothing at critical times. I imagine he's basically just going to be a tactical with some flame equipment and elite stats... like not really worth paying for over a veteran tactical. I would be very pleased to be proved wrong, but so far I have not seen a lot of innovation in Eternal Crusade. Most features are arbitrary basics with bare minimal gameplay impact. I'm still bitter about how boring the Chaos marks are. There have been a few surprises. I actually love what they are doing with the kommando. I don't care if his stealth is cloaking. I think he's a really cool elite, and I'm likely to buy him if I end up playing Orks more. If the deployment system was more interesting (also something i'm bitter about), I'd actually play Orks for the sake of playing kommando. Eldar ranger will be impossible to get wrong, but I'm dreading that they lack any sort of stealth. Stationary stealth would be a minimum for me. The rest is easy... since the ranger is basically just a sniper, all things considered. Just having the right weapon is already unique enough. Possessed I'm concerned that the weapons they use are existing ones (since the UAT version was using just a normal power fist), and that they do not move quickly. They should really move as quickly as Eldar do, and use monstrous melee attacks like demonic claws with at least axe speed. If possessed just use a bland power fist, I absolutely will not play or buy them. Power fists are absolutely trash in melee when they don't just bug out and ignore clangs.
As long as it's a low droning whisper instead of the same voice as the codex compliant marines, I personally don't care if they speak a little
