Well personally, imo this is a good change... leave acid spitting to Xeno filth! Faith in the Emperor, and my bolter are all I need!
I've always tried to ignore that Space Marines spit acid. Seems like something that sounded like a good idea to whoever came up with it in the creativity room but it should have immediately been shot down. It's just too alien and spitting on someone in a fight is not honorable as most Space Marines strive to be. As far as the game goes, if you can run around without a helmet then headshots need to almost always cause instant death. That will teach you glory seeking SMs basic safety measures when going into combat.
No. Why? IF ANY chapter, coming out of Imperial Fists shall arrive to game - they will be unable to use it, SINCE THEIR GENE-SEED DOESN'T SUPPORT THIS IMPLANT! So, if Imperial Fists, Crimson Fists, Black Templars would be in game - they wouldn't have that ability. Space marines DO HAVE this gland for SOME PURPOSE, even if rarely used. You saw quotes. Yet again, it would be hard to support this feat via game. Especially with anything related to Dorn's space marines.
