nope psycic hood is on the powerarmour not in the helm.you can be a libby without helm but with spycic hood

Like Glane said, depends if the helmet actually protects your head more, if not then why not have an option to go helmet less, tho it would be useless without facial customization . I'll stick helmed for sure.

I totally agree with that point, and did so earlier, my only point with cosmetics is that if a piece of equipment makes a difference to your enemy's choices in how to fight you then you should be forced to display that equipment. If it makes no difference then to me there is no discussion and it's up to the individual player.

I will say I support helmlessness, but I think I'd rather use a helmet just because I like the look of them. (And I'm hoping they have a cool one you can get from the cash shop.)

I want the Devs to produce all shop bought items with large price tags hanging on them when people equip them, so everyone can see who bought and who quested

i think that bonus for headshots should be minimal if they have a helmet...and if they don--wait, why wouldnt a space marine have a helmet? the helmet contains a vital HUD that they use, a micro bead, a 'perfect' breath cleaning system, enhances your senses, and probably does other things too!

oh, any they provide protection greater than a medieval full helm, or really any other infantry helmet in 40k OR fantasy that isn't magical/warp based/daemonic/terminator....but i guess thats not really that important CUZ I CAN SHOW MAH FAYS AN BE INSPURAYSHUNAL!

Not sure why this is being discussed. I am sure they will allow you to have the option to hide your helmet like every MMO.

Its getting discussed cause thats what forums do...we discuss everything,

and thanks to BE Devs being on this forum our discussions can potentially influence the actual product,

I understand that, but I don't understand why this topic is being discussed. I am 100% positive that this MMO will give you the option to show/hide helmets like every other MMO

The lore fans seem to disagree,
They feel that a space marine and by extension other factions should have to look like their wearing a helm because thats the way the models looked in TT,
Or because in a more realistic sense a soldier will wear anything and everything if its going to protect them even a little,
Or because they worry that a hidden helm may remove a visible clue to any "special" powers that helm gave the player

But hey, I'm for hidden helm options so I may not be the best when it comes to explaining their views
