See the 'delay the patch for the notes' argument is a bad argument. The patch notes should have been done before yesterday's patch. That patch that we got had to have been in testing for some time. Its not as if that patch magically materialized yesterday.
This wont change anything, since it doesnt stop the internal development process. Deploying on Friday is always risky since there are things that go wrong, and looks like for some it did. and these poor sobs will have to endure until monday for fixes.
Nope. As I've stated multiple times. There is a long weekend here in Canada (Thanksgiving) and nobody would have been working on it. It would have just sat there. Instead I patched Thursday so I can fix Friday and then the team can get the much needed rest after months of insane hours and you'll have a better version of EC for the weekend.
So they released it with a pretty big graphical bug rather than recalling it and fixing it? Release an incomplete patch?
Well, I still need my "Kill a dev" achievment... *flexes his Power Klaw which he actually thinks works a lot better post-patch*
I am not totaly fine with your patch policy, cause i am used to obtain patch notes befor the actual patch and maybe you could reconsider it for the future. On the other hand, i am very happy that you guys get the patch out this week, with or without patch notes. If you keep it up I am very optimistic that EC will be soon the game that we hope for.
so some missing faces counts as a pretty big graphical bug nowadays? Does this make the game unplayable for you, because thats what a pretty big graphical bug usually is.
