A lot of people are getting freezing and sudden yucky FPS drops since patch. Also will we ever be able to put the trim we purchased (also bring back white trim plz) on our upgraded armours? @Oveur i need bling for the emperor!!!! Also thank you for the update on the notes. I'm keen to see what LSM stuff has been nerf this time
Reading these comments always makes me sad. There is no more toxic a community than internet forums, where everyone is safe behind their little pictures they found off google. I, for one, am glad the game patched, even without notes (The freaking guy is on vacation, let him soak up a little sun!). I'd much rather get the content and figure it out for myself in game than not get it at all because we are waiting for a dude who should be enjoying a nice cold drink right now.
There's these "you have 3 months, time is running out" and then people saying "you need to delay your patch by 5 days so you can complete the patch notes" Delay a patch by 5 days...for patch notes? People think it would actually be better to delay a patch for nearly a week just for patch notes? "well the community is doing patch notes so why cant they" Then great let them do the patchnotes, its still a better option than delaying a patch for 5 days.
Hey, if they delayed the patch 5 more days they would have been able to catch the bugs like Ghost Eldar Faces and fix them alongside having the patch notes ready at the same time. Why release a patch with bugs when you have to spend more time on another patch to fix those bugs, and expect people to put up with the bugs while they wait for the next patch....
Totally, I thought it was clear I failed there in my original post to make sure patch notes would come up. I didn't patch and think "oh they'll be up sometime" I patched and said "they'll be out shortly". As in later yesterday evening. And of course Houman isn't the only person, he's the most experienced person and best person for the job. And still it takes him at least day just to finalize the full patch notes, after cleaning, parsing, correlating data and making sure everyone didn't miss something in their check-ins etc. So when someone does it instead, it takes longer. And I'll take the first sentence as a stab at me, I thought you wanted to cut me and thought it also was a clever tongue in cheek thing!
Actually no, Nathan already said that that bug only appeared on the live client so when the patch was pretty much already in the pipeline to go out it was too late.
