Seconded. I'm also not entirely fond of the treatment Hellbrutes are given as basically mass produced torture devices. While I understand the reasoning behind it, and even like some of the lore related descriptions, Dreadnoughts just have more variety and character to them. In works of Black Library can be lords as well as insane slaves, after all.
Dreadnoughts. Chaos space marines are still space marines after all plus I love those crazy lunatics( back in 5th my dreadnought chose to vent its anger on my land raider rather then fight the enemy 3 inches away.) The hell brutes are not as un predictable so less interesting plus I never really like the new look.
I would prefer dreads but GW and BE will propably give us hellbrutes ...that are crazed and TK without end...cant have LSM loose afterall!
Hell brutes, because sadly we can't have insane lunatic walkers that ursurp your controls on a whim. Not saying hellbrutes don't do thr same thing but they're more predictable and so... Easier... Plus That'd cause too much nerd rage
I second this. Maybe I should do that poll next lol. Exactly, the nerd rage will be so strong they'll automatically have to roll on the Crazed table every time they spawn.
The Helbrute for sure. Although, I would like to point out that the Helbrute is still a chaos Dred, the meta has just changed a bit. GW decided (finally) that due to warp corruption over the course of several centuries the Dreadnoughts have finally begun to twist and change like their power armored brothers. Chaos dreadnoughts would still exist in some capacity, as a recently turned loyalist might be. But Helbrute for sure, its the new meta. We can still customize them as much as the old ones, you just have to work on it a bit.
