(Sorry don't yell at me I don't know) is it going to like ruin the game or something? is it game-breaking, like okay sorry I'm really not trying to start an argument or anything just was curious.. a few of my friends and I asked for female characters on EA sports game and we got them to implement that and it had no effect on game-play, Sorry didn't mean to offend anyone o.o *hides* I'm not looking for attention or anything it just kinda helps immerse us in our characters, just like the guys want customizations on their characters, especially in a third person game and an MMO, you know?
well you can't know that wh40k is very very VERY lore intensive and if EC want to get implemented in the big WH40k canon then they need to follow the rules as close as possible (lore bend is OK , lore break not) lore says there are no female space Marines, no female chaos space Marines (demonettas and trance gender marines could be an option here), orks do not have a gender they are mushrooms, Eldar are the only one who have females in their army so if you really want to be a girl then you will have to play Eldar
Whoah now! Your harmless Dysphoria, were just joking around. Most of this community has been chatting back and fourth on these topics for some time. The thing is theres a difference between a sister of battle which is from my best understanding a highly trained human female who works for the inquisition in a suit of power armor. And a space marine, a genetically altered male fighting machine, space marines go through alot of surgery and mutation in order to become what they are. Either way its all just fluff and details, its really not the end of the world.
I just think that it's like a small thing that could be changed to accommodate the modern gaming audience... I mean it really doesn't effect much, why ostracize female gamers from playing female characters on an MMO? It's not that big of a deal but meh I duno I kinda was looking forward to being the femfatale of my group and being the tough badass bish in charge of my squad, I mean alright that's cool whatevs I guess, little disappointing but oh well

I totally agree from a gaming community perspective It is a dissapointing factor, but thankfully the Eldar faction are confirmed both genders! That might be your peice of cake, I know the Eldar needs more people. I actually have two women in my guild and were a Space Marine: Ultramarine only guild. Theyre gonna be forced to play male characters and its kinda a bummer =( So I understand the frustration
ya your point is valid but imagine 90% of the community are wh40k fans and their eyes an hearts would bleed if they see female spacemarines in game and from a marketing point of view it is better to mock the females then to mock the wh40k fans (which contain females as well for sure) well let's put this discussion at an end ^^ lexicanum is the best source if you want to learn the lore (better is to read novels ) BTW if you are able to understand German then try the German lexicanum it is way better and up to date! @Algernon tripple post? not on my watch!! merged!
lol Not really like "frustrated" per se lol just think you might be missing out in some box sales is all, I guess I'll have to convince my 4 friends that want to play CSM to play Eldar instead... oh dear they are not going to like that LOL two very different factions... oh well they can get over it or maybe there are Eldars with skulls and chain-swords and whatever they want.. They all want to play the CSM's cuz they "Look cool" lol I'm going to have to do some digging to find some badass looking Eldar... haha
