Have the haywire grenades been nerfed? I full stack of grenades doesn't seem to damage vehicles anymore.
I don't play Hawk, but I can give you my opinion from what I saw from people that I see are playing it. I think that they should double the dmg on haywire grandes but reduce number of them to 5
Last update they were nerfed into the ground so they still EMP vehicles but do next to no damage, you may get an assist if lucky.
That's what they're supposed to do, to be fair. Though it would be more reasonable if it also prevented enemies within the vehicle from leaving, thus providing a nice deathbox for the Fire Dragons to smoosh. The grenade would need some sort of cooldown though to give the enemy a chance to escape if they're paying attention.
Which is pretty much how Hawks are supposed to work anyway. They set things up via maneuverability and let allies take enemies out.
Look at it this way: They are still more usefull then the Hawksear grenades Too be honest I am ok with this. Now you can perfectly assist a Firedragon with these. You spot the tank for them, and then you immobilize it. Only thing I wish they would change is, that they don't blow up your Firedragons Meltabombs. Because if you throw a Haywire, right when they plant a Melta, you blow your allie up. On the other hand, you can also use them to blow up enemy healingstations.
Haywire on tabletop are pretty much the perfect vehicle killers now however, regardless of armour, though they nerfed them horribly against super heavies and for no good reason, though theere it more screws the dark eldar than craftworlders, what with the DEs supposed titan killer skimmer being a haywire user.
Well in the eldar codex, hawks are described as clamping haywire grenades to vehicles. https://www.dropbox.com/s/c12xou5h4k005lv/Screenshot 2016-09-22 11.42.50.png?dl=0 In my humble opinion making the haywire more like a emp meltabomb that does less damage would be more thematic. However, from a ease of game design persepective I can see why they made it a emp hawksear.
