'A few' ? - don't make me laugh, it's an army and that means something about the condition of the game.
You seem quite happy to see a negative review. I thought you were mad at them? Oh well, I guess everyone has a price!
Do I care for excuses, or am I in the business of game development? Nay! Is it ok to demand my understanding that stuff can go the other way then planed? Nay! Is this game what it was told it would be when I gave my support in $? Nay! Do I get a chance for a fair refund after I got a different game then I came here for? Nay! All I can say is that I got no chance in getting out of this with a smile or with being a happy WH40k Eternal Crusade player. I got not right then to shut up and eat what is being given to me. But I can very well remember this and the devs behind it. Next time you start a project, we will be there to remember everyone what you did here. Expect bad ratings even before you start a line of code. Fair...is fair after all
You have proved my point and no doubt have already left a negative review. As much as I'm sure you'd love to - you can't leave more than one review of a game I'm afraid. Funny that, cus I always seem to see the same few individuals moaning on all these threads. Spreading the various bullshit such as p2w. The biggest culprit doesn't even own the game. Yay! You had 2 actually....and tough shit. That's what can happen when you support a game before its anywhere near complete.
I checked the chart, then I checked Stellaris, which apperently is the 3rd most populous game on steam, we're only like 2-3k less players less than that game at any given point. Civ 5 is the real comparison though, min is 25k players, peak is 50k. Considering that's how large the forum/founders community is, I'm hoping by Christmas we'll see a pattern like Civ5.
Ah good, so we're all in agreement that you're ok with a negative review all because your price has been met. Excellent! Here's my business card.
apart from the fact that the current state of the game is no place for jokes and happiness this actually made me laugh.
According to this: http://steamcharts.com/app/375230 The most people playing EC were about 2.800 (rounded up). I don't have any other game to compare this to, but this seems a little... small? How much player does an MMO need to sustain it's servers? And those people only pay once (and maybe RTS from some) So... is that good or bad? I honestly don't know, but im worried
Are you f*****g kidding me, did you check your eye doctor lately: EC owners: 75,692 Players in the last 2 weeks: 22,029 Stellaris owners: 566,779 Players in the last two weeks: 108,321 http://steamspy.com/app/375230 http://steamspy.com/app/281990 LOL
I bought into EC because it showed potential and the devs reinforced that. The game was early in development and it looked as though they were focusing on achieving those goals rather than just attempting to appeal to a mass audience. Deathwing is being made by a good company and from what we've seen they've accomplished what they wanted to do and its actually going to be released as a complete game. Vermintide was a full game at launch, majority of its issues were minor bugs and some frame drops, I had literally no issue with it. Combat was bloody brilliant and the game felt badass. Gameplay wise its far different, melee changed a lot and only a few enemy units had similarities to anything from L4D. It also had loot and cosmetics which were pretty cool as well, also its not that expensive.
