Are you serious? So many bullshit reviews will ruin a game because they will put off prospective customers. If a game sells half of many copies as it would have done without all the bullshit (I'm looking at you p2w) reviews then it has a much larger chance of failure. Obviously. It doesn't matter how good a game is if no one ever plays it because of a bitter core of founders' reviews. You've preordered it based off of a few trailers? You have learnt nothing from this experience. And vermin tide was no better than this (I would say it was much worse actually). It was poorly optimised. The graphics were meh. It was reskinned left 4 dead gameplay wise - except l4d did everything way, way better. The game was repetitive and boring. It is the perfect example of 'games today' - boring, uninspired and shallow.
Focus Home Interactive is an actual known company that produces good games. This however... Yeah, founders have actual experience and have been around to see the devolution of this game. They're bitter for a fucking reason.
If EC dies, it will die because it's a poor game not because of the reviews, on the other hand reviews reflect the state of the game to some degree, you always need to take a grain of salt reading them, that's normal but in reality not many ppl decide to buy or not a game because of a review. I will never believe that a good game could be killed by bad reviews, more ppl use yt vids as reviews besides if there are so many bad reviews in fact, it must also mean something right?

Well, if this is really the case I can say only one thing: EC is a bad game and it deserves bad reviews and if it dies because of these reviews I will be one happy camper because that will mean consumers are important and you'd better not mess with them .
Thus proving my point entirely, thank you sir. Or alternative viewpoint; it'll mean that a few bitter and twisted individuals can ruin something for everyone else.
50€ for this buggy mess ?! I payed 88€ to found the Game and the Game is still awful after a Year. Starting with the Spawn, that don't points you where you have to go, over the horrible Movement overall, to the "Projectile" Hitboxes that kill yourself (and whats that shit, that i cant shoot or charge my Weapon when facing a wall nor enable the fucked up Auto-aim whilst in cover ? REMOVE THAT DAMN AIMBOT, WE PLAY ON P FUCKING C). The invisible Textures on the one big map where to cross the 3 Bridges and many other little spots where this happens. The Balance of the Ork Weapons, dont get me started on that... 50€ PLUS CASH SHOP, WTF
