An issue is that most people who really wanted to get it, or had a desire to back/support the project already got the game back in Feb or around that time. Whilst most prospective buyers, regular customers, do a bit of research before getting a game and the result of that is not too promising unfortunately. Yes the potential is still there, and i hope the game can still get the backing it needs to make it happen. Bandai Namco need to keep in mind that they're only going to get the sales they want once the game is a lot more feature rich and polished.
EA implies change will occur yet many people seem to think any plans are written in stone and take to Steam to air their views on said changes. It also implies bugs and balance will be an issue yet some people do not seem to get that either.
That's not what I was asking about, pls answer my question, you said that incorrect bad reviews can destroy a game - how? A game can be 'destroyed' only if it's bad - by itself. I can read a shit ton of bad reviews and if I like the game, if it's done well I will play it - this is what matters imo.
I think I answered it correctly but in summary, Many people do not seems to realise what they are signing up for with EA and condemning a game during its design process is not a good thing. Its a tad naive to think bad reviews don't effect purchases but kudos for being able to form your own opinion. I wish many others could.
They definitely do affect the purchases but does that mean they can destroy the game if it's really good?
There will always be uniformed ppl making rewievs about any games, nothing new - that itself isn't incapable of 'destroying' the game.
We will find out as IMO EC is really good and doesn't warrant so much dickish/uninformed negativity towards it.
I beg to differ, it's NOT good and that is the reason why there are so many bad reviews, including some incorrect ones, which isn't something extraordinary.
