The Problem arises when they have enough time to get to cover, the Stalker used to be like that and it became useless. I think the main problem there was just the fact that one can turn the scope off on the Stalker, instead of like before where it had to always be on.

Just give it a big fuckin' smoke trail when it shoots and the Kannon is good. That way you know where the small green guy is shooting the portable Vindicator cannon.

That and maybe some tweaking on the glow when the cannon charges so it's a bit easier to tell it's about to fire. That would give a bit more chance to dodge it in mid to close range and push it stronger into a long range weapon role. Rest should stay the same, it already has enough downsides to compensate its firepower.

It's a balancing act for sure. It was underpowered before and overpowered now. It might not be as big a problem if certain other factions had any equivalent whatsoever.

I mean, I've been playing with the stalker bolter a lot lately and I think it handles alright in terms of damage, ROF, recoil, etc, but the thing is the Stalker is, more or less, a DMR(Designated marksman rifle, for those not SAVVY), it's not a heavy rocket launcher than can be fired from half way across the map into a point clearing out 1-5 defenders depending on the timing of it, I don't even know why the Stalker is an issue for people because it's truthfully not that bad.

Could always just go the battlefield route and put scope glare on it.... /sarcasm

Even when I do get killed by it when I (rarely) play other factions it doesn't feel as cheap as getting 1hk'd by a kannon, it's a specialized weapon that serves it's purpose fairly well against anything that isn't orks with their toughness. Even if you get shot by one in the head on, say, an Eldar, the Warlock beam will get you back up to full in no time, it's not a oneshot weapon and idk why people even mentioned it being a problem here.
