Do you guys think that would be an interesting role to play if you could play as a Harlequin? I don't mean the Solitaire, that would be silly, but just being able to play as a Harlequin? I am interested in what you guys think of this idea
Don't hold your breath. I imagine they'll want to burn through all of the 'core' Eldar classes (Fire Dragons, Banshees, etc) before moving onto Harlequins and such.
Solitaire is brutal, yeah no doubt those clowny space elves will need to make an appearance to keep me interested.
If they added secondary races (daemons, guard, ...grots and squigs?) then maybe, but I don't see it at release.
I'm hoping for harlequins to be available, if possible I'd like all the eldar factions to be represented. will be pretty hardcore to have a solitaire, it's very rare, it's not really the standard path harlequins take. Harlequin being one of the eldar factions, I could go wit that, doesn't need to be a race just a sub class of the eldar.
I hope not. To me 'Quinn's should be rarely seen, so seeing half the player base running around in a sequined onesie wouldn't work for me. Either keep them as elite npcs or really high tier classes players can work towards.
I would love to see the clowns as a special character akin to librarians and such. Preferably with fancy acrobatics in some form. I can just imagine cartwheeling into a large group of Orks and giving them the ol' harlequin kiss. Shame it isn't likely anywhere in the near future.
Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Any harlequin should be a heroic class, imho (unless I misunderstood what a heroic class is anyways)
I like the idea of them being elite NPC's which will pop up at random points during random battles, help you, and then disappear.
As much fun as I think playing a Harly would be, I agree that they should be more rare and maybe even NPC only.
