I know they said that before but this quote doesn't sound like it... maybe I'm freaking out because of sleep depravation or maybe he said something that was supposed to be a surprise?
the latter visual effects we were told before, whats new is that the whole squad needs to "create" a hero. Not sure if i like the sound of that as it won't be a friendly mechanic to pub squads.
Im assuming you are just counting up the choices seen on that loadout screen that was presented. I actually asked Syphid here if he would ask when we could see the support classes (Apothecary and Sorcerer) ingame. Im guessing noone asked them that? Look at one of the first pics posted in the thread, with all those classes presented in the loadout. Im pretty sure they didnt play them.
This mechanic would need to be tweaked for pub Squads. What about have some kind of "Hero Armoury" or something in certain types of Bases that random players can contribute resources to, and people in a squad can access them to become these Hero classes?
Probably, when did they talked about visual effect? I must have missed that. Support classes are supposed to be apothecaries and aspirant sorcerer, you talked about elites and heroes LET ME DREAM OK?
There are squad level requisition points. Like a squad pool. I assume a squad of 1 person also has a pool. Members have to agree on point spending and who gets the upgrade.
They act as support to normal troops. They become vulnerable after using abilities and must be protected . Enemy gets huge rewards for killing them.
Dont take this as me taking jabs at you, but thats not what me (and Joram id assume) are interested in. Devs went on a little here and there about what the supports will do, what we really wanna know is when will we be seeing them in the actual game. Thats what i asked Syphid to ask them.
