Hit detection can be wonky at times, I've snuck up on a devastator once sprayed his back with rodeo shoota, did 0 damage, he unbraces, turns around and opens fire. The slugga I swapped to damaged him would not outdamage a HB at close range.
Sadly progression is not linear throughout the week. Theoretically LSM are on a solid course to a last minute heartbeat finish but it depends how much the progress slows down throughout the week and if the last weekend is better or compareable to the first.
CSM would have the Ork/Eldar issues on them if that was the case. They barely hang by simply because Ork/Eldar combined are shouldering the pop difference. It happened on Space Marine, and that game had mirrored sides.
I would not worry about it too much, it is almost certain that the devs will actually alter this campaign so as not to upset their snowflakes.
Make it where the User searches for a game. Have server factions be predetermined. Fill the server, User chooses a class from the faction he is assigned to. Not only would this help load times for ALL players. It might also end some of the faction vitriol that has turned this forum into a toxic wasteland. this will do nothing for the campaigns...but those aren't all that already. I dunno, the playerbase doesn't seem large enough to keep four factions up in the way they are doing it now.
Wish I could help, brother. I have limited gaming time so I'd rather play something else and game than queue sit :O
That post is a real work of art. LSM faction arrogance AND LSM persecution complex together in one post? Bravo. I really do not understand the "LSM carries the game" theory. It goes both ways. Without the other factions, you also don't have a game and this campaign is already proof of that. I'd argue that the strong LSM focus and the successful calls for nerfs have done more to wreck the xeno populations than anything else and now LSM does not have anyone left to fight. What exactly in your opinion would be the correct victory ceiling for LSM? Cause the only way I can interpret that statement is that it should be set much lower, thus rewarding the overpopulated faction for being overpopulated by giving them even easier win conditions. How does that help faction balance in the long term at ALL?
