Yes and no actually, Autocannons a way better sniper in entrenched position, and stalkers good for sniping in the traditional way where you can pick off enemies with mobility and the the ability to melee, but not nearly the same volume of fire. I think the stalkers slightly overtuned for what it does, but only very slightly, different tools for different jobs.

Reaper launcher is it's own beast, I think Dark Reapers are insanely good heavies.

One hs and one body shot on naked LSM, 2 hs or 3 body on armored one.
    Same for CSM.
2 body shot on Eldar to down them. 1 hs is a hard punish hit, meaning that after a full armor regen, any hit from a stalker will down them. Reaper are no exception. Elite take one more hit to be downed.
Ork are obviously the toughest, 2 hs one body to down them. Didn't had the occasion to try on their elite but I suppose 3 hs one body to down them.
  3. Personally for me, Autocannon being full auto with little recoil while braced nets me massive kill streaks at range. Stalker, less so. Slightly more ability to deal with dudes in my face, but at a distance, damage falloff is very apparent.

Trouble with LSM is we have the biggest player base in the game.... with that comes biggest amount of bad players biggest amount of salty players and the list goes on.
  5. ... but also the most good players, not? At least if we go by this and say every faction has the same ammount of doofballs and Progamers

Unless the hitboxes are god knows where, no, in 2 headshots I don't kill even an eldar (mostly reaper), tested over tons of fortress maps, and asked in game tons of times and people still tell me the same, that in 2 headshots at distance you don't kill anything with full health and full armor. Stalker only works if you shoot at already injured foes or to support heavies.

ITT: LSM players bitching about Eldar coming back and kicking their asses (and retaking territory) while Orks have lost most of theirs and CSM is a toss-up.

Since some of you haven't figured this out yet, let me explain this to you as someone who has played all four factions fairly extensively and who currently mains Eldar.

Eldar Aspects are highly specialized compared to the all-rounder Tacticals and the Bolter Apothecaries, and to boot, Space Marines get servo skulls that make Eldar even easier to kill than they statistically are. For a while, LSM was curbstomping everybody because a lot of guild players were fucking everywhere and most of the other faction guilds were either trying out LSM or just not as active. Eldar have been nerfed harder than any of the other races at present not so much because of being statistically overpowered, but because 50% of the playerbase (that's LSM btw) were bitching about getting stomped on and having never actually played as Eldar.

You CANNOT afford to use the same tactics playing as Eldar as you would playing as LSM, CSM, or even Orks. On the other side of this coin, Eldar are really, really powerful when they work as a team because, in general, these individual aspects are far better at their particular jobs than most of the other races' classes. So if you have a bunch of players who do a particular thing extremely well, they are all working together and actively coordinating as a team, of course they are going to be a nightmare to fight against and seem overpowered. However, this is a double-edged sword.

-If you don't have enough Dire Avengers, you will lose because there's nobody to capture objectives even if the rest of your team clears the whole room.

-If you don't have any Striking Scorpions, you'll lose because there's almost nobody to break up enemy firing lines by flanking and killing heavy classes.

-If you don't have any Banshees, you'll lose because there's nobody to protect your warlocks from assaults, or to charge forth with buffs and soak up fire when your team needs to push an objective.

-If there arent any Fire Dragons, you'll lose because you have no dedicated anti-vehicle troops to swiftly destroy transports, tanks, and ordinance and force the enemy to leg it without armored support.

-If there arent any Swooping Hawks, then you'll lose because there's nobody to swiftly respond to small groups attempting to capture your locations while the bulk of your team is focused elsewhere, potentially drawing the enemy's attention long enough for help to arrive and engage the enemy or even for a teammate to interrupt the capture if the invading group is few enough in number. You'll also have a difficult time clearing windows and balconies where heavy classes have set up shop or clearing out hard cover, since Hawksear 'nades can easily wipe out a squad from above if they are bunched up behind cover.

-If there aren't any Warlocks dedicating themselves to support (if you're running Force then you're doing it wrong), then you have no healers and no buffs, both of which are paramount to winning games as Eldar.

-If there aren't any Dark Reapers, then you have a much weaker defensive line because there's nobody but the Swooping Hawk to lay down oppressive levels of firepower and prevent the enemy from zerg rushing you.

LSM and Eldar both have only one capture class, but statistically speaking the Tactical Marine has a large advantage in firepower and durability and far greater versatility. Dire Avengers have less firepower individually, as well as less armor, but they can be very deadly in groups because more of them can fit into a space without shooting each other than can Tacticals, which leads to better ability to focus fire. LSM gets a quintuple range melta that applies a slow instead of the heat ailment (grav gun).

Eldar have three classes whose primary weapons are restricted to melee; One is their support class, one specializes in flanking and assassinating the backline, and one is a duelist who excels and disorienting the enemy and being a big obvious distraction. LSM have only two, and one of those gets a shield by default for soaking up firepower. The other gets a jump pack and an aimbot that does way more damage than the eldar equivalent in addition to the actual melta, a melta bomb (dunno if they can have two), plasma gun, and storm bolter.

The LSM apothecary gets instant heal syringes that can make their battle-brothers more resistant to damage, they get medicare, they get heal beacons, AND they can get the bolter, which costs a lot less LP than the Crozium and is a very solid weapon. Warlocks have to sacrifice a buff/debuff slot for a ranged damage option that isn't their pistol, while the Apothecary gets so much more from just using the bolter.

LSM Devastators get a fairly large selection of weapons to choose from, including the excellent Lascannon, and the exceptional Plasma Cannon. Not to mention the Multimelta and the Heavy Bolter. Dark Reapers don't have any particularly good long-range AV weapons, much less as many weapon options. Reaper launcher is okay at AV, but Fire Dragons are way better.

Swooping Hawks are really squishy and only have one weapon that does more than tickle damage, which is the Hunter's Mark. Every LSM class except the Devastator gets a free aimbot (smart pistol) with which to rob SHs of their mobility and track Striking Scorpions through walls (and that's bullshit. losing LOS should mean losing your lock-on regardless of which race you're playing.)

Scorpions are in no way overpowered. You can render their stealth useless just by looking at them, especially if you have a scope. Pretty sure you can spot them like that too, so if one of them comes up and gives you surprise buttsecks, you have only yourself to blame for going solo and not watching your back.

Banshees arent OP either. They are the only eldar class with a standard power weapon and they require a lot of finesse and cleverness to use effectively, or at the very least a warlock to buff their damage resistance. They are pretty good at giving all classes surprise buttsecks due to their 120 standard penetration. 130 if they take that one mod, but they have more agility than sneakyness anyway. Shotgun Stalker is probably much harder if you're hit with a banshee scream but I haven't had the chance to test it.

Fire Dragons aren't OP as long as you don't leave your vehicles unprotected and expect not to be the target of Eldrad-level dickery. Seriously, I'm a suicide orangutan and I LOVE it when you park your rhinos right outside for me to blow them up, or leave your ordinance sitting there, or you try to one-man army with a predator tank. Basically free AP/XP/Req for being a dick AND I get to pat myself on the back for being a credit to the team. It's also really funny to dump my melta load on a vehicle and run like a Slaaneshi marine while you angrily chase after me with your bolters like I'm the next Goge Vandire.

TL;DR you lose to Eldar because you collectively suck at teamwork, and you can't blame that all on newbie players. You need to put on the big boy power pants, take some fucking responsibility and teach the new players how to be better at the game. Don't fucking shout at them in voice chat or berate them in text chat for sucking because they don't know any better. Be proactive.

Take the initiative and lead by example. Form small five-man war parties and show them through the Squad system how effective voice and chat coordination can be and inspire them to do it themselves. Don't be a toxic, unlovable asshole with salt for blood and a stick up your ass.

Progress is about 49% or so (not quite yet in the middle) with 4 Days and 8 Hours left.
I feel like all LSM would need is one more day, or a really good push, otherwise they will fail their Campaign

I graduated from the farm shoulder, now I'm playing for other factions to help the brothers successfully complete the campaign so that they have enemies that can be defeated. I play badly so that the brothers should easily win in those games where I have against them. But they don't win. This is really not good.
