I have a question about that rengade knight. Are there any renegade knights that aren't with the ruinous powers? Like renegade in the way they arent with chaos or not with the imperium?
You mean like how the Soul Drinkers were renegades, but still loyal to the Emperor? Went to my local GW today to see about the Anniversary model and Index Astartes Apocrypha. They'd gotten 20 models and 2 books. They sold out of the books within the first hour of opening, when three customers turned up to buy them. All the models were gone within double that time, one guy had bought one and got a second for spending over £100, another bought 3, one to build, one to convert, and one to keep. And the GW site was so quick in selling out that even store managers missed out! I missed out as well. I think that maybe, just maybe, GW underestimated how well this stuff would sell.
The description on the first image sort of talks a bit about that. You'll eventually need to turn to Chaos to keep it running and supplied if you turned your back to the Imperium.
Yeah loyal to the emperor but not the imperium. similar style like the soul drinkers. also holy shit they sold out that fast for the anniversary model. Dang I wanted to see if I could snag one online as well.
Isn't Freeblade more of a consequence than a real choice? At least most known Freeblades, that I am aware of, come from destroyed households or suffered some form of exile.
There are a few exceptions to this, where some have left in protest of their houses or for some personal reason. Such examples are admittedly rare by comparison, but it's not entirely unheard of.
They are garbage other than the sorcerer conclave (even then sorcerers cost too much). They all require overcosted HQ taxes and really arent that great. CSM needs a complete overhaul not just a decurion. Same with orks dark eldar and nids
