    :*( ok
  2. I believe my earlier posts were a bit misleading, if so I apologize. What I mean is that to me, an Imperial Guard fan with the various shades of (spiky) power armor being located in the roughly center of my favorite factions list, 30k just isn't as interesting since 18 of the 20-ish factions are shades of power armor. Solar Auxilia has some pretty good infantry models but I still prefer the variety found in the 40k Imperial Guard, aesthetically and lore-wise.

I don't count Imperial Militia since it has no models and is more of a "Make your own damn thing" kind of list.

EDIT: GET YOUR MERCHANDISING. Clocks, mugs, cushions and journals.

    EDIT2: From Natfka's editorial.
    "Curse of the Wulfen
Curse of the Wulfen is the new campaign book coming, and the information we have seen reveals its daemons against the Space Wolves with even some Dark Angels thrown in there. That sounds like a great campaign book, and a good start to 2016 for Warhammer 40k. With Space Wolves front and center a lot of Wolf players are Im sure very excited. While Space Wolves are not one of my own armies, I miss the days when they were feared on the table as an opponent. Of course these new Wulfen will rip apart the close combat forces of my own armies but it's a little too early too pass judgement on them on a vacuum.
I also will be watching closely to see what other armies are brought into the campaign, even for future books."

  3. Its said that the 6th legion for the HH books are going to be different from the current space wolves, must've been before the wolves stocked their vaults full of weapons and artifiacts that they've collected through out the millennia.

Those two-handed frost axes are made of enchanted Winter-Steele.

I can't wait to see what the wolves will be getting in the 41st and the 31st millennium wars.

  5. "Warzone Fenris, Curse of the Wulfen: 208 pages paperback book in which we find the return of the 13th Company of the Space Wolves, lost in the Eye of Terror, haunted by a massive horde of demons. Their chapter brothers will soon go to his aid, a contest in which the Grey Knights and Dark Angels are also involved. New rules for new models of the Space Wolves, daemonic psychic powers, plus formations.
Datacards Chaos Daemons: Pack of 57 cards for daemons. Contains 7 psychic powers (3 of them new) for each of the psychic disciplines available, Change, Excess and Plague, plus 36 new tactical objectives for Demons."

    The psychic powers are:
    • Throw Stick: Draw a 36" line from the caster and any Space Wolf models within 18" are forced to move in the direction of the stick.
    • Roll Over: All Space Wolf models within 12" go to ground and are unable to move or attack the next turn.
    • Who's a good boy?: Choose a Space Wolf character model within 6", that model is unable to issue challenges on the next turn.

Y'know, this stuff about the Wulfen, and mainly the hellfrost pistols got me thinking... As general space marines have grav guns as heavy weapons, why not give hellfrost cannons as a heavy weapon choice to space wolves? It's a lot similar to a plasma cannon or missile launcher, having a blast-shot or a focused shot (frag/krak), while being stronger/better AP. What do you guys think?

Mm... On the other hand, when it comes to the "special" things of helfrost; it's a good multi-wound model killer, but other than that, there's not much special about it. And when it comes to most HQ-characters or such, they have quite a good strength. It's not as good of an ace up your sleeve like grav guns are...
