To put it plainly and bluntly they are gonna be a mix between Custodes and Astartes and they will carry Bolt weapons superior to those used by the latter. The "chance of rebirth" part strongly implies they are using the gene seeds of the respective primarchs ( at least that option is offered to all chapters ). All Guilliman haters can swallow this. I'm glad he is the one who returned because he is the only primarch who brought and will bring advancement and ofc because he is the tacticaly most versed - an actual warmaster.

no they are now saying that the old marines aren't going to be discontinued or irrelevant the usual damage control
they implied in the video that some chapter have been decimated to the point of being replaced, that pretty much confirm that is not ultramarine only and certain chapter can come back from the dead. so old marine are survivors etc etc... the real question: what happen to the many heroes? like chapter master etc etc they still be the "old version" while leading army of new marines?
Stat wise a change, but what about the size? I don't want to see two different sizes for them (All or none)
so far we haven't seen anything suggesting they will replace the normal marines, just reinforcing them as a new elite unit of sort a complete conversion is unlikely to happen in the near future if at all it's up to see if the gene-enhancing method mentioned in the video can be used on people who are already space marines or women for that matter
