Since you will be doing the F2P as orks, I think it's fair you bring out Guardsmen, Like Death Korps of Krieg, Cadians and Armageddon legionaries.

And even for Chaos, bring out Chaos Renegade Guardsmen and Cultist's.

I for one, would love to see such things come to pass.

Let me be the big hatted pretty boys of the 40k universe, that are the Vostroyan's as a Paid for skin/outfit, and I would literally throw all my money at the Micro transactions store.

I personally think that having a free to play option for all four factions (Cultists/Scouts/Guardians/Ork Boyz) would open up the possibility of the League of Legends style hype, due to the ease of getting one of your friends into the game, then bombarding them with lots of cool paid for content, such as Classes and vanity items.

This would be much better as orks would start swelling to unimaginable numbers.

Feel this kind of removes the entire point of the Ork f2p system as there's LESS of them not more as it should be and frankly it's a bit unfair Chaos gets extra players and nobody else does.

While I'd personally love to see F2P IG to gain the sheer firepower and manpower they deserve, I'd recommend a different route. I actually supported F2P IG in another thread, but I actually think Pm713 is right. Orks need to remain F2P for two reasons:

1. Population.
2. Goofiness / Trolling.

Something I'd prefer to see is not a character creation, but a squad creation that plays something like this:



Squads would probably be limited to 3 maybe 4 at the max.

Death Korps of Krieg, Vostroyan Firstborn, Valhallan and Cadian.

Those regiments, Either as Free 2 Play or a buyable race after launch/at launch/with the full game.

Imperial Guard NEED to be in this game, either as a F2P faction that you can play or one you have to pay for either as a purchasable race or part of the full game, As much as i love the Astartes, I've got MANY friends who want to play Imperial Guard and at the moment are somewhat disappointed that they're going to have to be a Space Marine.

I'm among them. But if its the difference between a great game and a broken one, I can wait for the IG to be part of a future DLC and another faction.
