    Gretchin as Equipment [Consumables]

Gretchin: As equipment gretchin, or grotz, would take up the consumable slot. They would be deployed in battle. Once deployed they follow and take orders from their master, the ork who deployed them. Since they are grotz, they can and will most likely be killed easily.

An ork can only have one grot deployed at a time. Its cooldown resets only after the grot dies. Once the cooldown has been reset you can restock at an ammo box as usual to reduce the cooldown. If the ork dies the grot runs away (it dies as well).

By default a grot will follow the ork who deployed it and automatically use its kit when needed on its master. If a grot has no supplies left and an ammo box is nearby it will automatically restock. Grotz can be given orders by pressing F on a target. Hold F to cancel any active order and have the grot return to you.

Grotz could also potentially be made Vetern/Elite only equipment.

Grot Orderlies x1 150 lp, x2 300 lp [Painboy] → A grot orderly carries a medkit or 'urty syringe and heals orks for the painboy.
    • Targeting an ally orders your grot orderly to heal them with a medkit and then return.

    • Targeting an ammo box orders your grot orderly to restock and then return.

    • Targeting an area or point orders your grot orderly to heal damaged orks in the area. If an ammo box is nearby it will restock itself.
Ammo Grots x1 150 lp, x2 300 lp [Lootaz] → An ammo grot carries an ammo pack with it and will give it to a nearby ork who needs ammo. It then goes to an ammo box to replenish its supplies.
    • Targeting an ally orders your ammo grot to give them ammo and then return.

    • Targeting an ally vehicle or structure orders your ammo grot to give it ammo. [not currently needed, but still a good idea]

    • Targeting an ammo box orders your ammo grot to restock and then return.

    • Targeting an area or point orders your ammo grot to give ammo to orks in the area. If an ammo box is nearby it will restock itself.
Grot Oilers x1 150 lp, x2 300 lp [Mek] → A grot oiler will go up to damaged ork vehicles you are in or around amd repair them.
    • Targeting an ally vehicle orders your grot oiler to use its repair kit on the vehicle and then return.

    • Targeting an ammo box orders your grot oiler to restock and then return.

    • Targeting an area or point orders your grot oiler to repair nearby ork vehicles in the area. If an ammo box is nearby it will restock itself.
Grot Riggers 300 lp [Mek] → Grot riggers are deployed on an ork vehicle. They increase the passive healing of the vehicle, as well as prevent it from immediately being destroyed. If the vehicle has been disabled, but not destroyed, the grot riggers can repair the vehicle, or at least give those inside time to disembark. The grot riggers are killed when the vehicle is destroyed.

Da x1 and x2 wit' diffarant LP costs be fer eitha' 'avin' 1 er 2 grotz at once each wif only 1 kit on it before it needs ta' restock, er a grot wut haz 1 er 2 kits on it before it needs ta' restock
  2. Agarn Agarn First Blood!

Pretty cool stuff, but sadly doubt it will happen as bE has said they don't want any AI on the players teams before because that would just be a waste of resources that could support more players instead. Also, they would need new animations and it seems that is the big holdup with Termies as animating models to actually look good and realistic is a LOT of work.

Also would like to see suicide (exploding) squigs.

Great Idea... credit to the guy who thought of it.
Implementation isnt his issue...not something in his hands so lets not dis him for that...props for a fresh idea.

  5. Most ideaz do take lotza werk unfortunately [ta' implement, and sumtoimes ta' come up wif]. Dat be why ye won't see many uv 'em, if any, get implemented

EDIT: Been postin' me silly ideaz and probably gunna continue fer a bit. I figure dey won't be implemented er hardly even looked at, so I neva' botha'd ta' post 'em. But now dey jus' sit in me document on me computa' doin' nuffin'. Figured I got nuffin' ta' loze by postin' 'em

Already posted two uvva' silly ideas. A roight silly idea and wun fer a skirmish map wif all four factions dat don't end [shameless self promotion uv me uvva' ideaz roight 'ere]
  6. Suicide squigs be unuvva' idea o' moine, az it probably be many uvva's az well

"Squig bomb for Orks. You release it and then control it while it moves, leaving you defenseless as you control it. You remotely detonate it. It will go off if killed, or if you get killed. One use item, takes up your grenade slot."

Now dat I fink 'bout it, it cuuld also werk loik me grotz idea. Ye set it in an area, er it follows ya, and den it jus' charges at da nearest enemy (in a radius er sumfing) and explodes. Most loikly, if'n such a fing were ta' be implemented, it'd probably jus' charge at a designated target wen released
  7. Agarn Agarn First Blood!

Don't get me wrong, as I said, I really like the idea and clearly a lot of work and thought was put into it. I would be stoked to see it implemented, I just don't see it likely any time soon.

  8. I edited me orginal reply ta' ye 'bout dat. Don't roightly expect 'em ta' eva' be implemented. Mainly puttin' 'em out dere ta' get blokes finkin' dem gud ideaz

An idea, gud er bad, kan lead uvva's ta' 'avin' dere own ideaz which moight be gud

  10. I think a first simple implementation could be like a Servo Skull: the snotling just jumps around waiting to spot an enemy.
