ya they should cost something but there should be an auto refill button and you get told when you respawn how many has spend and how many is left i hate it in PS2 to run out of grenades and dont get told ^^
As mentioned before, limit them to one per person/life. And make them cost resources. Then players will have to make a choice depending what type of grenade they wish to use and when to use it.
I'm happy with the typical grenade types (frag, melta, smoke, etc.) at launch, but would like to see more later on. There could also be many variations of the typical grenades too with different stats that a player can earn, like a "master-crafted fragmentation grenade" with higher damage or blast radius. I just wonder how certain grenades types should effect each faction. For example, regular flash grenades and smoke grenades wouldn't obscure a Space Marine's vision, due to his super-enhanced senses along with his power armor's auto-senses.
maybe get mastercrafted once aslong you hold an facility which produce them? so it would be meaningful to defend/attack some structures
Honestly, ANYTHING mastercrafted should be RARE. I doubt there would be a manufactorum on this planet we are fighting.
well then not mastercrafted but upgraded versions something?^^ what should we capture then if not facilities or other strategic meaningful stuff?
I was thinking more like a player would gain access to higher quality equipment from the armories on his orbiting ships once he ranks up.
I dunno man, manufactorums would make a great plot reason for Space Marines/Chaos/Orks to be there! Also I'm pretty sure this scenario is going to come up in our campaigns across the planet
