So tell me. If not for the Imperium....could the Eldar stand against all the dangerous enemies we receive the brunt of? Could you stop the Tyranids, Chaos (thanks for birthing a chaos god, btw,) Tau, Ork, Necron, and the myriad of other threats if the Imperium did not stand against them creating a bulwark for your dying race? I'd say that any Eldar who slaps an Astartes will have a broken wrist, but we all know they're already limp.
If the Eldar were in their state before the Great Fall they could fuck up any enemy. Being so powerful the only thing that could stop them was a God having to take direct intervention. I think if the Eldar were prepared for the birth of the She Who Thirsts they could have defended against She Who Thirsts and retaken the centre of their Empire. Since the Eldar now lack the Numbers for the strung out warfare you sacrifice millions possibly billions in everyday we just direct you whether you know it or not like the puppeteer behind the curtain leading you to your battles and ensuring even the life of a single all of Mankind would have been a worthy sacrifice. The Imperium of Man is now just a carcass of what it was. In the last 10 Millennia there has been little to no knowledge researched as you still scavenge and life off your previous empires. You follow the rule of a corpse who will die any day now and then when the "Emperor" falls the Imperium will either destroy itself even more than 10 Millennia ago but yet you're still corrupt to the core. The "Holy Council of Terra" a bunch of foolish men trying to claim a Galaxy which is no longer and never was theirs to take. The Galaxy once belonged to the Eldar and that which once was will come ago. Also we need know the all Space Marines are "Limp"
And so another Eldar appears, by the Gods I swear with the rate all these xenos appear, I may actually be willing to believe they stand a chance on this galactic stage. All the more satisfying, to send a worthy foe's soul hurling into the Immaterium, for the gods to do with as they please.
