@ Warmaster Nate Cresistauead benighted = overtaken by darkness, in a state of pitiful or contemptible (deserving contempt; despicable.) intellectual or moral ignorance. Chaos are uncultured barbarian's overtaken by darkness. Barbarian's are unenlightened and without the righteousness of a cultured normal educated people, who follow a path in life and do not fall to excess (movements imply: Craftworld Eldar would follow a path). No one is more morally ignorant than someone shouting, "blood for the blood god." They are trapped as prisoners of their own rage, their dungeon which they hope will be yours if you join them. Yes they are ignorant, after all they are mon-keigh (Any species deemed inferior; most often used for humans. Derived from legendary cannibalistic mishappen monstrosities that invaded and subjugated Eldar lands until they were cleansed from the galaxy by the hero Elronhir. ). Their sins make their eyes blind to the truth, ignorant of the damnation they wallow (movements imply: like chiefly large mammals roll about or lie in mud or water, especially to keep cool or avoid biting insects) in.
I agree with everything stated above. They are indeed overtaken by darkness, but you centralized your statement around them needing to 'hide a dark soul' and that is simply wrong. I know what benighted means, but if you had just replaced the word 'hides' with 'bears' or some such, it would have been cool, and I would have defended you. On an unrelated note, I am not a cresistauead. (I would have been insulted by the condescending nature of your retort, but I am too well-natured and you're new, so I won't hold anything against you.)
Ooc: its all role playing Morals are subjective, what we believe is wrong they believe is right. Its behind that and many other arguments they hide behind. They traitor legions attacked earth becuase they thought the emperor want to be a god and the space marines saints worshipped by billions. They never knew the darkness in their hearts would cause this to happen. They believed they were doing the right thing. It's always lies apon lies. Many are driven insane by chaos to the point they do not know the difference and become servants without knowing. All the while the ruinous powers are laughing.
OOC: I know; I was doing so too and still am. ^_^ I was also making sure you know I am Eldar though. They do throw themselves into a corner. Either serve their god to satisfaction, serve them unsatisfactorily and become a chaos spawn, or die somewhere in between. Even if they succeed, it is an immortal existence in a servile position to an utterly voracious, and ultimately insatiable 'deity' who might change their mind on the matter quite suddenly. Edit: autocorrect typo correction
Your foolishness belies your great age, King of Pestilence. Even now Isha's whispers travel through the Webway and the Craftworlds. The more of your putrescent sicknesses you attempt to taint her with, the more cures and remedies become available to our people. So long as you keep our Goddess hostage, your own threat diminishes. Such is the self-defeating way of Chaos.
Ha you elder are no better than our loyalist brothers keeping the dead to serve because your numbers dwindle I would almost feel sad for you if I didn't hare your kind so much.
Biological mutations are no match for promethium, and heresy no match for the Emperor's divine will. Ave Imperator.
The dead are more than enough to kill you...why should the living tire there sword arms slaying your kind?
Because death is nothing but the simple release of our physical forms in the dimension known as the materium, for when we die our souls are simply rebuilt in the realm of choas. It is from there we grow ever stronger, it is there that we grow ever more in numbers and bar with us the Patrons of our Lords. Who are you to dear stand against us? Indeed you Eldar once had a grand empire, one that blossomed and shined like a rose among a sea of dust and blood, but like all great empires you faltered and weathered away. You allowed yourselves to become naive and be overwhelmed with pleasure. Now you are few. Now you are weak. Not even the ancients will be enough to save you from what is inevitable. So bring your warriors, bring your weak, your young and your old, your masters, your avatars, All who would deny chaos Undivided. For we will be Ainiluin (waiting), and like a storm we will wash over you and laugh as the screams of your kin sing to us like an angelic chorus. echoing throughout the Galaxy proclaiming the demise of Ynnead and the spark of khaine finally snuffed out of existence. So i ask again who are you to judge that which has been your undoing from the beginning?
I have walked this reality longer than Eldrad--I was old when I led all who would listen away from the corrupt and pleasure driven animals that called themselves "Eldar". I live death every hour of every day of every eon--you know nothing of death, lost fool. I have seen chaos "undivided". The very nature of Chaos tears itself apart therefore your numbers mean nothing. Perhaps I will lay slain with my kin one day, perhaps all will be slain by those as foolish as your ilk, but what then? chaos will consume itself and be no more. Death is nothing I need to take fear from, neither is the warp. When we one day meet your bones will crack and break and be crushed in my grip, you will beg me not to banish you to the warp. Your final moments will be filled with weeping as I raise my blade and send you back to your "masters". Enjoy what little life you have left for it is fleeting.
