  1. The Word Bearers never violated their loyalty, not in the sense you believe. Their true loyalty was always to Lorgar, and by his loyalty to the Emperor they too followed the path. Lorgar rose as a prophet, he cleansed his world of alternate religions in a long civil war on the bases his visions were foretelling that they were to be Enlightened by the primordial truth's true advocate.

It was not by the Word of Erebus or Kor Phearon that steered the Legion, they would not have followed them alone, only the endorsement of Lorgar was taken as truth by the Legion. When they acted as scribes to the revelations of Lorgar, they twisted and tweaked them in their own favor, deceit by deceit changing their meaning to suit their own ambitions.

They do not stir the Legions devotions by drawing from their pride and arrogance, they exploit the Legions devotions. When Lorgar ends his meditations, we’ll see how many brothers go by their word or the true word. Just as your Imperium, the master manipulators start with the mind and the heart to cement their power, the difference being yours is based upon nice lies, not the severe truth.

And yet he too falsified reality, the Emperor was a visionary tyrant, I'll give him that. None could fault him for his intelligence, his raw power. But thus comes with the power of autocratic control, he understood much of the universe, but trusted no-one to act in his stead. None were told of his true designs, but were expected to carry them out without question.

By his word civilizations were brought to ruin, often for reasons as simple as them not wanting to submit to his rule, favoring their independence. The Emperor consorted with the Gods in his quest to create the Primarcs and spread his singular vision. That is the ultimate failing of the rotting Imperium, your beliefs leave you to accept only one interpretation, and despite the hypocrisy they have the audacity to destroy entire civilizations for their alternate viewpoints.

I peered into the most exoteric of derangements that will plague you in time, the subsequent visions only alluded to an assortment of bananas in your future...

So it is a dereliction of duty or a mismanagement of the Legion on Lorgars part to allow subversive elements to operate from within his ranks then, and Lorgar failed to fulfil his duties as a Legionary Primarch. He was oblivious to the truth within his own Legion and sequestered himself away instead of dealing with the Legions issues. I call that negligence and denial, while Lorgar dottered his Legion fell to corrupting influences that he perceived were threats from the Emperor. Delusional, misguided, and angry Lorgar struck out at misperceived threats and conjured charges to suit his war efforts using religious fervor to incite compliance and subservience within his Legion. There are no similarities between the Emperor and Lorgar, The Emperor was not a fanatic as Lorgar is, and while the Emperor sought compliance it was his Sons who decided on how best to carry that compliance out. The Emperor had the knowledge and Technology to develop the Primarchs on his own, no sorcery, Gods, or faiths were required to do so. For some I see the honeyed words of Chaos have rotted their minds.

We shall censor or review our own just as the Iron Hands do, and I am sure if there be a taint within than he shall be cast beyond the Emperors Light. Until such time, tactical errors are common place among our younger Brothers, and you need not dictate the consequences of such actions as though the Blood Angels are Excommunicate Traitoris and the catechism of abolition need be spoken
  10. Over time (2 years) we shall see who is loyal and who is a traitor in sheep skin brothers. It seems its come down too DTA in our loyalist faction.
