Greetings everyone. I am Simus (a hertic took my username), a Librarian of a space marine chapter protecting the people of the Imperium's eastern fronteir from alien and heretic. I've been searching the warp for a solid 40k roleplaying forum for quite awhile now and yesterday an unusually friendly daemon of Tzeench pointed me in this direction. The RP tavern here is quite extensive so I suspect I have guided my brothers and strike cruiser to the proper place but as we all know the warp is a trixy mistress so if I am mistaken, please let me know. As for my off-duty interests I've never played Eternal Crusade and don't plan to get it because a 40K MMO doesn't really sit well in my mouth and WoW is too much of a thing to really allow it but I am an avid 40K fan. I haven't played with the models since college where I learned to play but I absolutely loved them and have kept up with the Dawn of War series and Space Marine as well as delving deep into the 40k wiki for all things imperial. I have extensive roleplaying experience over on skyrimforums.org (This is where a link would be but I'm not sure if it's okay to advertise other sites here so just use your imagination) and am known as Simus over there. I'm always eager to write, discuss 40K and most other sci-fi universes and eager to meet and write with new people. It's a pleasure to meet you all. May The Emperor keep you safe and/or forgive you for being xenos.
Hello there, nice to meet you! Welcome to the community. 40k MMO was a misleading title... or let's say... it is a bit difficult to talk about. ;-) This is nothing like WoW and it is not supposed to. You can check it out on Youtube or Twitch, you might like it. Other than that, have fun in the tavern.
Greetings and welcome. We're more of a 4ok shooter/action game right now. Most of us are hoping for a WWII Online/Planetside 2'esque experience in the near future. Semi open world with battles that effect the geography and shape of the battlefield. Battles that lead to follow on battles in the same region. Anyway, hope you consider checking out EC. There's a steep learning curve, but plenty of tutorials online to help get you started. Welcome!
