Just to mention - this summoning and bringing forth a Greater deamon is clearly a PVE thing (if he is not player controled) in a PVP game....duno if that is such a good idea
  3. Bringing forth a greater daemon should give marines temp grey knight allies or something :p

    (if its pvp)

Edit: Not sure bout the other races
  4. i mean its going to be a persistent world, so they would be using daemons and gretchins and stuff against the enemy...i had an idea for a runtherd class that uses grots against the enemy

I think that given the fact that Space Marines will have the largest player base, we should be given Daemons and Greater Daemons as a means to balance it.
  6. I don't know, there are no 'facts' yet. :p
  7. no, because its balanced in that you have to prevent it and its very hard to do. grey knights need to stay away from this--we can handle ourselves. it should be fucking hard and take lots of strategy--not just another super unit that ends up being a 1v1 for all intents and purpsoes (10 GK's vs a GD...)

Like I said there will probably be a daemon tech tree later down the line with Greater Daemons being hero's. I do believe that the people being the daemons will have to be summoned. In order to summon said daemon your character (being Dark Apostle and Sorcerer) will recite some sort of spell that will last all of three seconds and "pop" there is a squad of whatever daemon you wanted to summon. This is my take on it, but they may think differently to balance it all out.
  9. That would sound like a ton of fun!
  10. nice idea, but i think summoning greater daemons should be a continent wide event that effects the entire area being fought in, and should serve as an objective of sorts and a huge game changer.
