First he want to say something, but with the flow of events, change his mind. With a quick motion, he draws the bolter pistol, and let fly two bullets with a loud DAKKA towards the incoming tower of fury swinging a chainaxe. The first one miss, the second one get deflected by the shoulder armor of the Khornate berzerker. He raise his axe Just in time to block the weapon of the charging enemy. - That was not nice of you Xenos filth! (by the way, sorry for the slow responses. im at my workplace still, and though its a calm day, sometimes i still have customers )
*In response the Berserker roars, his helm's teeth actually parting into a gapping maw before closing shut. With both hands urging forth the Chain Axe, the Wolf of Fenris would find his strength failing, as the roaring teeth grow closer and closer, the Blood God's blessings upon his warrior now making themselves quite apparent. Bruticus knew little now, all that mattered was the Nails singing in the back of his mind, rewarding him for such violent acts. He watched as the grinding teeth of his weapon grew closer and closer to the Wolf, their cries for blood so close to being answered. Should the wolf not figure out something quickly, he would find the overpowering strength of the Berserker would cause the massive chain axe to come biting into the right shoulder, to slice through his torso to the left hip.*
He quickly noticed how he couldnt hold with one hand his roaring death. With some help of his bolter hand, he pushed the chainaxe up just to get enough room to roll out of the way of the buzzing chainteeth to the left. As soon as his speed lost, he used his remaining energy to stand up and turn towards his attacker. With a wide uppercut, he swang the rune-adorned head of the battleaxe towards the belly of his enemy.
*As the wolf would turn back to face the Berserker, he would have the time to register his armored helmet coming crashing into the wolf's head. The Berserker's, having seen the wolf redirecting his axe, would waste little time and using his previous momentum, would slam his helmeted head into that of the wolf before him. The horned and sharp helmet would most likely cause some cuts to the flesh of the wolf, and most likely, the sudden bash to the head would cause some confusion and daze. With this, Bruticus would bring up one knee, to slam into the loyalist's stomach, the force behind it most likely being enough to send him staggering backwards.*
The world blacked out for a second. His right cheek start to burn with pain and swelling as he got the enormous headbutt. He felt as his warm blood start to flow from his wounds immediately, also one on the right of his forehead. Only one thing was in his mind, that the berzerker is too close to him to use his weaponry effectively. He was in need some room to hurt the enemy. He felt the moves of the other, and did not want to accept his gifts without giving something in return. As his axe lost direction in the melee and harmlessly etched the heretical patterns of the Khornate armor, he randomly aimed his gun point blank to the closing leg of his enemy, and pulled the trigger as many times as could.. with a possibility of one or two shot.
